This was wonderful! My three boys all enjoyed it even though they originally didn't think they would. Two of them even went back for seconds!

Slow Cooker Lasagna

This is the first time I have ever burnt anything in a crockpot. I thought that was impossible to do, but after 4 hours on low, I had to turn the crockpot to the "warm" setting for the last hour before dinner. I was surprised to see a thick layer of burnt pasta/sauce all around the edge of the crockpot. We ate from the middle, and what we had tasted all right. My kids complained that the sauce tasted "odd," but I think it was because everything was just a big mushy mess.

Cranberry Gelatin Salad I

This turned out very yummy. I took it to a church gathering, and not much was left when it was time to go home. The only drawback was that it definitely needs 8 hours to set. I did not allow enough time for that, and about an hour before we left for the gathering, I put this dish in the freezer to speed it along. That worked and the gelatin set just fine. Next time I will allow more time.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

I also made this recipe and it flopped the first time. It was very oily and thick, almost like fudge before it hardens. I re-made the recipe, this time using butter instead of margarine. (The recipe calls for butter, but I substitued margarine the first time.) With real butter, the recipe turned out awesome!
