Mexican Chocolate Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
I hate to give any recipe such an awful rating but this chili was just not for me. It was much too sweet and really lacked any flavor. In the end I put about 5 total TSB of Chili powder and 1 1/2 TBS of Cumin. Sorry for the bad review.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I thought this tasted awesome. Even my mom liked it and she never has anything good to say about anything. Definitely going to be a keeper recipe! And I normally don't change recipes to my liking but everyone said it needed sugar. I just added maybe a TBS of Honey because I was out of sugar. I think with or without it, that I would still enjoy this recipe! Thanks!

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I would suggest only leaving a half a cup of the swirl mixture because it's hard to get a good marble effect with a whole cup. too much white. overall, this was delicious as ever.

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
I just wasn't a huge fan of this. I was really expecting something spectacular and it just wasn't that. I'm sorry. I love spicy things but it was actually a bit too spicy for this recipe. I still appreciate the recipe though. Always nice to try new things.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
Definitely a good recipe. I really liked the idea of the Mont. Jack cheese......I wouldn't have picked it otherwise. I think with a good sauce and maybe a few tweaks I will make this 5 star! Thanks for a good dinner recipe!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I never give any recipes 5 stars but this one takes the cake! I didn't change the amounts but right at the end I put some bread crumbs on just one side- added just a little more juice over the top and broiled it. Came out AMAZING. I will agree with the others though...it is A LOT of butter and there was so much more mix left over. this recipe was for like 10 chicken breasts! I still wouldn't change it though. it tasted too good. And I wasn't even going to eat it because I was feeling sick. Glad I did, thank you!

Ginger Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
I thought this was alright. I think it was very tasty but as someone else said..way too salty. I tried this 2 days in a row. One time I omitted the salt... but still wasn't 5 stars for me.

PHILADELPHIA Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
I've made this a couple times and I think it is awesome! Definitely a good combination. Would recommend cutting down the serving size because I probably could've came close to making two of these. I also took the easy way out and just bought a graham cracker crust.

Cheesy Ramen Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
I'd give the original Ramen Noodles 5 stars. Adding the cheese just throws off the flavor and is way too over powering. It's good... but I'd take the original over this cheesy mixture.

Amazing Chicken

I have made this chicken in the past and it was amazing. Very very moist and flavorful. Got lots of good reviews but didn't tell anyone it was covered in mayo until after!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Sorry to be a downer, but I say stick with what you know! Mine smelled funny and just didn't taste like a PB cookie to me. BUT...it was pretty cool making cookies without flour :)

Cajun Spiced Pork Chops

I didn't really like this recipe at all. It just didn't taste good to me. I could taste the sage over powering it, and it was really not that spicy

Fierro Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
This is a very tasty meal. I must agree that it is not very spicy and would use hot chilies if you're looking for a kick. The featured recipe makes A LOT of sauce, probably a few more than 6 pieces of chicken are needed. I would also say that the sauce would be a huge hit at a party with some tostitos!!
