Awesome!! I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of using northern beans instead of black-eyed as I couldn't find those in the store. I am sure that using fresh tomatoes would make even better, but canned was far from objectionable. Cilantro is a must. Will definately make again and probably soon!!!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Ok...I grew up on cornbread for nearly every meal, and never thought it would be possible to find a recipe better than my dads, but I just did. This is amazing! Followed the directions exactly and it turned out perfect. I have made it twice now. Once in a regular glass dish and the other in a preheated cast iron skillet. Greate either way but, out of this world in the cast iron!!! I highly recommend this recipe and have made it my new staple.

Pat's Baked Beans

Amazing! Made this last night and followed the directions exactly with the exception of substituting butter beans for the garbonzo as I don't care for those. No leftovers and I think I could have doubled it as we liked it so much. No need to try any other recipe. This one is perfect.

Carrot Cake III

Excellent carrot cake. I did follow others suggestions and add more cinnamon and nutmeg. Perfectly moist and soft. Flavor got even better the second day. Didn't last longer than that.

World's Best Lasagna

WOW!!! I'm never even going to try another recipe. No need. It couldn't possibly get better. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of fresh basil doubled in porportion. Insanely good.
