About this Cook
Being newly single, my cooking methods are changing. Having cooked for a family of 10 - 12, I have whittled down the size of my cooking and serving vessels. I still have trouble cooking for one.
My cooking triumphs
Pork green chile is the best many friends and family members have had. With them living in the southwest says alot, I think.
My cooking tragedies
As a new bride I remember the rubbery eggs and trying Spam Italiano (ugh!). One meal, sweet and sour pork, was so bad my new husband went to my sister and brother-in-law's house for dinner. We laughed about those early meals for years:)

Charleston Breakfast Casserole
You bet it is a crowd pleasing recipe!! I made this last night using the garlic cheese croutons & taking the suggestion of other reviewers, let it refrigerate overnight. I used ham, small diced red & green diced peppers & onions. The people loved the flavor, and I believe it came from the croutons. The eggs were increased to 9. I cooked the bacon until crispy and crumbled it on the top after the dish was pulled out of the oven. I was ready with copies of the recipe for those who asked. Thanks Scott!
