Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2015
I've made this recipe now probably 100 times. It is always a winner. The only difference I have made over the years is frying some bacon and cooking the veggies in the fat, adding the bacon at the very end and also adding jalapeno throughout. Oh yeah, I tend to add a little more cheese sometimes. SO YUMMMY!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2014
This recipe is great! Next time I think I will do a little less meat and more veggies, the ratio is a little off. The only thing I did different was add oregano and rosemary and a little more Worcestershire. As for Corinne's suggestion, she needs to make her own recipe, as it is not this recipe at all!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2014
This was absolutely fantastic. I also did the no boil noodles and it turned out well. I've never made a lasagna before as I'm not a huge fan of red sauce, so this was perfect. My boyfriend had two large helpings and was in love. When I make again, I think I will use fresh spinach. I dumped even more cheese in than the recipe called for and it was super gooey. Overall, awesome recipe.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2014
This is easy, different, and VERY yummy. Be careful with the amount of oil used, you can go too little to too much very quickly. Heats up great for leftovers with a touch more oil added. This recipe is great!! EDIT: After making this over and over now this is an easy 5 stars. make it your own, I add more bacon grease, more garlic, and I make noodles from scratch and sometimes just buy store bought linguine. This recipe is restaurant worthy either way.

Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
this was fantastic!! my mom and i made our own crust and the crumbs on top just made it that much better. so much flavor! absolutely will make this again. was great without the nuts and raisins, why complicate something so simple and delicious?

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: May 14, 2014
this recipe was very good! i used whole grain pasta and it was great with it. i did cut the chicken in bite size pieces for preference, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. will definitely make again! nice quick cleanup too...always a plus! oh, and the leftover wine didn't hurt a bit!

Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2014
This was wonderful!! Fantastic for company. Next time I will use both jalapenos, I was afraid to overpower it. I bought some already shredded fajita style chicken and threw it in there. Only thing is that I put at least another half lb of cheese in, made it super gooey! It was a big hit and heated up great for leftovers.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2014
These tacos are not only the best tacos ever, but one of my favorite meals of all time. Make sure to use a good beer, if you're from the south, Shiner seasonal is what I go for (the 966 seasonal this time). Fresh cod is key! Absolutely exceptional, thank you for the delicious recipe. It's great to throw something a little different in once in awhile. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
Meh. It was easy to make, and fell apart great, but the taste was not there. If I were to ever make this again, I would at least half the vinegar as it overpowered the taste and left the pork a little too greasy for my liking. My boyfriend did enjoy it, and we've already eaten three meals of it... it's not bad but I'm not all that impressed either.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2013
This recipe was simple and delicious. I even went as far as to just grab a rotisserie chicken and toss it in- 10 mins prep time, easy. After a little too much red wine, we didn't end up eating it until the next afternoon, the extra time did nothing but good for it. Came in from work and it was done and ready. Added avocados and tossed in some tortilla chips.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2012
I came home with the ingredients for this recipe and realized... I've made this before and gave it 1 star. I still don't know what I'm doing wrong, as I am a very good cook. But I have been to many excellent Italian restaurants ans this recipe isn't fit to feed to the dogs. Terrible.
