About this Cook
My name says it all hahaha :) I am a waitress and a short order cook. I also enjoy styling and photographing the food that I cook at home.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that is unique, like bacon cookies for example. I also enjoy using herbs and cheeses. I really like spicy hot foods as well...
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Oma would make prune dumplings every fall for us. They are big, warm, and sweet, the very flavor of the fall harvest! Now it just doesn't seem right if we don't make them!!
My cooking triumphs
Many many many!!! Tortes, fondant cakes, amazing meals, and I even helped cater to a large group of people!
My cooking tragedies
I don't even know where too start! I guess the worst was when I made some spicy prawns. I mixed up 3 tbsp of salt, 3 of pepper, etc. and instead of just coating the prawns and shaking off the excess spice, I DUMPED IN THE WHOLE THING!! SPICE, PRAWNS,EVERYTHING!! Well, they were SO horrible, they were even salty after I RINSED THEM OFF!! lol :)

Coconut (Haupia) and Chocolate Pie
This is soooo good! I went to make the pie, and realized that I only had half of the needed chocolate chips. So I used 1/4 of the filling and mixed the melted chocolate chips in. I used half of the coconut pudding in the bottom layer, then I put a layer of the chocolate mixture on top and finally, topped it all off with another layer of coconut pudding. When it was set, it looked absolutely amazing with the thin ribbon of chocolate running through it!

Cherry Pineapple Pie
When I told my Dad that I was making cherry pie, his face lit up! After I told him that I had added pineapple to it, his face fell. I felt bad and almost picked out the pineapple, but decided to just cook it and see how it turned out. My Dad ate two huge pieces and said that it was amazing! I will definitely make this again!!

Creamy Peanut Butter Pie
Amazing! Sooo rich and creamy! My friends and I polished off over half of this pie, we would have eaten the whole thing, but I accidentally dumped the other half onto the ground :'( I decided to eat it anyways, but I ended up throwing it away after I bit into a piece of gravel /:(
