Moroccan Meat Cigars

I LOOOOVE these! I add minced onion, and probably double the spices, brush phyllo w melted butter. I dipped in tzatziki. It's delicious! I can't decide what side to serve w them though.

Cheesy Rosemary Potatoes

These were fine, and that's about it. I followed the recipe all the way. I wish they were creamier. Definitely a better cheesy potato recipe out there.

Very yummy. I think I'd prefer to leave the ham out and crumble a little bacon on top when serving it. I don't know if it was just the ham I used but it didn't add much flavor. It was really good and creamy though.

Anniversary Chicken I

This was good, not great. I expected more based on the reviews. I followed the whole recipe except used real bacon. Probably will not make again. Lots of calories for little reward.

Hot Mexican Spinach Dip

Well this is officially a hit! People haven't been shy about asking me to bring this to pitch ins. I use about half pepper jack and half cheddar jack, hot salsa, and I skip the evap milk, adding a couple tablespoons of reg milk if needed. It depends on whether you use a chunky salsa or more liquid-y type. I love this dip.

Pizza Dough I

It does the job when you have little time. I'd rather spend the extra time for a risen dough though. I added garlic and basil to the dough. Like, not love.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Really delicious. Definitely true that it's better a day later. My 17 month old son loved it too. I used brown rice and added it from the beginning. More curry, no cream. Just saw no need for it.

Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

This is great! I made them chewy. I just used butter instead of shortening and a tad more peanut butter. They looked and tasted lovely.

Clark's Quiche

This is soooo good! I used Marie Callendars frozen deep dish pie crust and a total of just 7 eggs and it was a great fit (a tad bit of overflow in the oven). I also used fresh baby spinach just for the heck of it, but next time I will probably use the frozen. I don't know how noticeable the fresh was. Oh, my criticism...I was actually pretty peeved at this: The times are way off! It takes much longer than 15 mins to prep, and for some reason the cooking time says 10 mins at the top of the recipe (with total time being 25 mins HA!). I have never made a quiche before so I didn't know that 10 mins was totally unrealistic! I was running late and pretty bummed once I got to the end of the recipe and it said to cook for 40 mins! I think it took even more time than that! 5 stars, none the less, because the taste was very impressive....an hour and a half later!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I modified to use my obsession (triple berries - blueberry, strawberry and raspberry) and I'm totally obsessed with the result. Soooooo good! It was more topping than I could use but that's my only 'criticism'. They look beautiful too!
