Deer Jerky

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
This jerky was very flavorful-we used a food dehydrator and it only took about 18 hours to fully dehydrate. We sliced the venison pretty thin and it was slightly crunchy and chewy all at once. Thanks!

Chewy Caramel

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
this caramel is absolutely outstanding!!! So many people have told me it is the best caramel they have ever had. I cook it to firm ball stage(248degrees), and use it to make turtles or to cover caramel apples or pretzels. Fantastic!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
These pretzels were great!! The texture was fantastic, and the crust was great. I boiled them for a few seconds in baking soda/h2o solution, and split the batch in half- they were great. I have made pretzels at home before and they couldn't compare to these. Thanks for sharing.

Grandma's Polish Perogies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
I was pleased with how these turned out, the dough was very elastic and that made it a little difficult to work with. I was very pleased that none of them broke open when I boiled them, I have made perogies in the past and that was always a problem. I used onion in the filling as well and they turned out great. Overall, I was very pleased with this recipe, thanks for sharing.

tasted good, but it seemed like a lot of preparation and planning for a simple tasting dish. - I left out the food coloring also. Thanks!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
This bread was very good, everyone liked it. I made some changes to cut down on the sugar and oil, and it was still moist and yummy. I used 2/3 cup applesauce and 1/3 cup oil instead of the full cup of oil. I also reduced the sugar to 3/4cup of white and 1 cup brown sugar, and used whole wheat flour. I needed about 65 minutes to bake it throughout. I was very pleased with the results! Thanks for sharing.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
This was very good, next time I will use milk instead of the cream to cut down on the heaviness.
