Great recipe...the only change I made was I sub. 1 of the T of salt for garlic salt. Tender and delicious.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

When strawberries are in season, I love to find new recipes to use strawberries in. I did alter this one a bit because I didn't have white wine vinegar or sesame seeds. I used 1/2 cup canola oil, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cider vinegar and 2 T poppyseeds for the dressing and I added 1 cup chopped walnuts with some mix of spinach and Romaine. The Romaine gives it a good crunch. I carried it to a ladies banquet and it was a hit. I'm rating it a 5 even though I haven't made it exactly like the recipe given. I'm sure it is real similar in taste.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

This chili was great! The family loved it just the way it was. I did leave out the cayenne pepper and paprika because I didn't have any. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Best Brownies

I gave this recipe a three star only because of the texture. I cut the temp. down to 325 for 15 min. and they still came out too cakey for my family. Next time I will cut the time back more to see if I can get a more fudgie brownie. The picture looks great!

Chicken Cheese Chowder

Great recipe! I went exactly by the recipe except for a few additions of ground red pepper and Paul Prudhomme's Poultry Magic, which is a tasty addition to your recipes. This is a great soup for the fall weather. I'm planning on taking it to our church's Hayride and Chili Supper. I believe they're gonna enjoy it!!!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

This was the first time I made this particular recipe and it was a hit with my family. I went exactly by the recipe and they turned out great. The only thing was they didn't seem as chewy as I thought they might be, but they were still very tasty! This one is definately a keeper!!!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

This was my first time making this particular cheesecake and after taking the advice of some of the reviews...I had success. I pre-heated the oven to 225 for 3 hours and 40 min. then turned the oven off and left it in for 3 hours. I like the idea of using this as a basis and then adding your own touch to it...with chocolate, fruit and different crust variations. It was beautiful and tasty!
