Spinach and Orzo Salad

It didn't seem to have enough dressing flavor to it. We added more of the balsamic vinegar for our taste but it was still nothing I would make again.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Tilapia is a very mild fish and the sauce overpowered the taste of the fish. It was also kind of a bother to broil, pull out, turn, remove completely from oven to add the topping which didn't really spread on evenly once it came in contact with the hot fish, and then broil again.

Caribbean Holiday Shrimp

I prepared these this morning and we ate them as an appetizer before dinner so they had plenty of time to marinate. The marinade was good but you probably want to cook your own shrimp so you can add seasoning (like Old Bay or Shrimp Better-Than-Boullion) to the cooking process. The store-bought cooked shrimp were tasteless and no amount of marinade could overcome the unseasoned cooked shrimp.

Country-Style Steak

I made this exactly like the recipe and it was very tasty. It made 4 very minimal-sized servings so you might want to increase the amounts. Also, I would either grease the bottom of the baking dish or line the dish in non-stick foil since the coating stuck to the bottom of the dish. I baked it for 1 1/2 hours and it was done and gravy had reduced a lot. I will try it for an hour next time.

Honey Walnut Shrimp

The sauce tasted perfect but it was thick and pasty and hard to "toss" with the shrimp. I wish it had the consistency to "drizzle" over the shrimp and then toss it. I would make twice as much sauce next time for 1 lb. of shrimp.

Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip

SO many compliments at a Superbowl Party! I only used ONE large chicken breast half purchased from the meat case, not the little frozen breasts from a bag. I also added a small can of black olives and added the beans at the beginning as others had suggested. Cooked on high 1/2 hour, stirred up, and cooked on high another 1/2 hour and it was done!
