Heinz 57® Copycat

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2015
You've created the perfect copycat recipe, NWMama. Thank you for sharing it. I have made this several times now and it's perfect as-is. Just FYI, the brand of worchestershire sauce you choose does make a difference. My last batch was with the store brand and it tasted off. I won't do that again.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

5 stars! I have made this soup many times. I usually add 1/2 can of whole black beans and some zucchini. My whole family loves it.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Perfect. I added pecans and substituted unsweetened applesauce for the oil. Moist and delicious. I followed the other reviews that recommended cooking at 325.

Eggnog Quick Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
I wish I had read the modifications others used. Mine was dry and the rum extract seems too overpowering. I think I will try again with applesauce, that always makes my other breads so moist.

Pumpkin Bread IV

Moist and delicious. I used "no sugar added" applesauce instead of oil and reduced the sugar by one cup. Thanks for sharing this recipe Cheryl, we love it.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
Our family made a New Year's Resolution to eat healthier so for the past few months we have avoided the fast food scene. However, this past weekend we were all craving a thick juicy burger. I was about to give in when I found this recipe. The only change I made was to sauté the onions and garlic together first. I put them on the grill and they turned out great, even to a family of junk food junkies! Ha! Thanks for helping us stay on track. I would definitely make these again.

Deviled Eggs

These are fabulous - so creamy and just the right amount of sweet. I left out the salt and we didn't even miss it. PERFECT!

Christmas Turtle Candies

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2001
I have made this recipe several times for work and family gatherings. Each time, they are a HUGE hit! Everyone thinks I spent hours making them, slaved over the stove with a candy thermometer, etc, etc. HA! (I have also used white chocolate chips and they turned out just as delicious.)

Yum! This was a big hit! After 40+ reviews, I don't guess there's much more I can say. Definitely a keeper.
