About this Cook
i am a happily married mom of one. i am a manager at walmart and have a small bakery that i do part-time.
My favorite things to cook
anything with sugar.
My cooking triumphs
xmas dinner 2007. spent over $200. fed about 20 ppl. took two days. did it mostly by myself. the menu: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, rolls, shells & cheese, green beans, sweet potatoes, 100 deviled eggs, veggie tray, 4 pumpkin pies, dutch apple, cherry delight, peach cobbler, 2 chocolate pies, spice cake, and 2 celebrity pies. all homemade except the gravy and rolls. woah...
My cooking tragedies
i cant follow recipes. they're horrible almost everytime i do. i use the recipe for an idea then just wing it. thats how ive created some of my best works.

Grandma's Peanut Butter Fudge
the people who gave this a bad review need their heads examined! i have never attempted fudge before and this recipe worked perfect!! i used reeses peanut butter and have been told that it was the best fudge anyone has ever had. it was smooth and creamy. it was soft but in a good way. it just melts in your mouth!! i am now using this as a base for all my fudge. instead of peanut butter, i have used 1lb of white chocolate and some oreos and made cookies and cream fudge. absolutely awesome!!! definitely a keeper!
