Mexican Street Vendor Style Corn Salad

Reviewed: May 6, 2014
Just tried this recipe and it was dee-lish!!! Seriously? Some people didn't care for this? Bland? Are we following the same recipe?! This tastes like authentic Mexican street corn. I used canned corn because that's all I had on hand, tapatio hot sauce, cotiga cheese, half of a fresh squeezed lime, mayo and butter in the same amounts that the recipe called for and a wee bit of garlic powder (as I love my garlic powder on corn.) My kids even loved it. Rich and yummy. You can't go wrong! I blackened my corn a little bit before I added all of the other ingredients. I'll be making again and again! Thanks!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

These were delicious!!! I made them for all of my neighbors for Christmas and they all asked for the recipe. I just rolled them into balls and out and put them on cookie sheets. And freeze the peanut butter cups!

Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2013
This recipe is spot on the same as my grandmothers cookies and the best you'll find. I do add about a tbsp of water to the mix to help with the dry or crumbly texture people have been talking about. I make them every year for all of our neighbors and every year, they gobble them up and ask for the recipe!!! I've made them with walnuts, pecans, no nuts, colored granulated sugar, etc. and whatever you make them with, this recipe is fail proof and classic!!!! Winning!!!

Chef John's Quiche Lorraine

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
Made this quiche for family visiting on Thanksgiving morning. It was my first quiche ever so I was a little nervous to try it out on house guests but I followed the recipe exactly and it came out dee-lish!!! My family was raving about it and it was still super yummy the following day. Easy and flavorful. You can't lose on this one. However.....use a deep dish pie crust. This made a ton. Thanks for my new go to recipe :)

Green Chile Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
I halfed the recipe and it was absolutely delicious. Brought it to a holiday get together and everyone wanted to know how to make this. It literally took me like 10 minutes to make although I used the can roasted green chiles :) I served it with two different specialty crackers and carrots. I will definitely make this again. So easy and delicious.

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
I made this for Thanksgiving with my enormous family and everyone was RAVING about it. It's definitely got a kick to it which we all loved. My uncle loved it so much that when there was a little bit left over that my mom was going to throw out, he scooped it up, put it in a tupperware dish and took it home :) I've never seen someone want to save dip, so that spoke volumes!!

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
This is the best meatloaf ever!!! I've made this several times and I've followed the advice of a couple of people. I double the sauce which is yummy and leave out the brown sugar. I also add a little worchestire to the meatloaf mix as well as to the sauce. I brown onion and garlic and add that to the mix as well. Will definitely make again!!! This is now a family staple!!

Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
I've made these several times and they never last long!! I always double the crumb mixture as I prefer more and add in peanut butter chips and then white chocolate chips for color. They're very rich but ohhhh so tasty. My husband always requests these as do all of my co-workers whenever we have a potluck!!! Yummy!!!
