Buttery Cooked Carrots

very very good recipe. I doubled the carrots & the butter - left the sugar at 1/3 cup. No one knew there was sugar added - thought the carrots were just extra sweet! Thanks!

my new favorite way to cook asparagus! Used twice as much asparagus (guests) but kept to same amount of other ingredients. Dusted w/parm before serving. Everyone who liked asparaguse loved it prepared this way. Also, cut into bite-size pieces before cooking -easy to saute this way. Thanks!

Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast

fantastic! made a 6.5 lb roast for a family get together, doubled the glaze. Cut the loin in half & poured half of the glaze over it & marinaded overnight. poured half of leftover glaze (cold) on loin before roasting - saving last portion of glaze to be heated & used for sauce at the table. Took out of oven at 150 degrees & let rest for 20 minutes before carving. Everyone loved it! Thanks :)

Sloppy Joes II

Great flavor, easy easy easy. I tried it as written & with others' suggestions - doubled the sauce ingredients & sub in bbq sauce for 1/3 of the ketchup used. I personally like it a bit saucier & liked the addition of bbq sauce. served openfaced with cheese sprinkiled on top. Thanks!!

Golden Potato Soup

Fabulous! I was so happy to find a creamy soup that didn't call for butter or cream! Totally versatile too....you can sub vegetable broth for the chicken, add cooked bacon pieces instead of ham...whatever you've got on hand. I used another's recommendation of using an immersion blender to mash up some of the potato chunks. Thanks for a GREAT recipe :)

Banana Crumb Muffins

wonderful....search for great banana bread recipe is over...muffin version great for kids. I didn't have brown sugar so used white. Turned out fine, but I'll use brown sugar next time. added a little vanilla to the mixture & subbed canola oil, as suggested, for the butter in the batter. Made 12 good sized muffins. I might add walnuts next time. THANKS!!

Lemon Pie Bars

Excellent! I took advice from others & increased filling by 50%...baked add'l 5 minutes. Came out exactly 1/2 crust (yummy shortbread like) and 1/2 lemon topping. Good balance. The crust is done at 15 min even if it doesn't look like it. Let it cool before dusting with powdered sugar. Didn't have "real" lemons for zest so added a 1/2 capful of lemon extract. Very lemony! Thanks for the recipe :)
