Broccoli Cheese Soup III

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
This is incredible soup!!! I had 6 c. broccoli and used 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of celery. AMAZING flavor!!! My kids (5, 4, and 2) sucked it back like it was chocolate milk and my husband gave it 11 stars out of ten and he's not a fan of broccoli. This is a MUST save recipe! Thank you!!!

Coconut Cream Pie VI

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
As per one of the other reviews, I made the pie as directed, but only used 2 tsp. of vanilla and increased the amount of coconut to 2c. To get the right thickness I used 1/4 c. + 1/8 c. + 1 Tbsp. of corn starch. I also made a simple meringue to go on top instead of using the whipped cream. The pie was simply delicious. Creamy, yet flavorful.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
This pizza crust was great! Wouldn't change a thing! I was really impressed how easy it was to work with after only 10 minutes of resting in the bowl. Not needing to kneed it was great! 5 stars for simplicity and 5 stars for taste and of course the look was fabulous as well. Thanks so much for this recipe!

Sweet and Mild Cooked Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
We LOVED this. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! I didn't have a can of peppers, so I chopped up a yellow sweet pepper and put that in with the rest of it. Hands down, best salsa EVER!! Thank you!

French Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Loved it. Added 1 Tbsp. olive oil, next time I will try without to see the difference. I actually made it with my Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook and "kneaded" it until it was smooth and elastic. So easy, so good, such a hit... I will make this again for sure!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
Fluffy, perfect pancakes. I made the pancakes exactly as per the recipe and they turned out amazing. I searched this morning for a recipe because I was out of Aunt Jemima mix and every other type of breakfast food, including milk (I subbed 5/8 c. evap. milk and 5/8 c. water for the milk). This recipe was so simple and so good that I will never buy boxed mix again. I added 1/2 c. blueberries to half of the pancake batter to please a few people in my family and they were simply delicious! This recipe would be so easy to add apples and cinnamon, other fruits, pecans, etc. to make it to your favorite. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
I haven't been able to find an oatmeal raisin cookie recipe that I've liked after a lot of searching. I chose this recipe as a base and it turned out perfectly. Short on time and didn't flatten with a fork or refrigerate, I just baked them and they were perfect. At 10 minutes the outside was just crispy while the inside was cooked but soft. I tried adding raisins by soaking 1 cup of raisins in hot water, draining and then tossing them with about 1/4 c. flour before stirring them in at the very end after adding the oats. I was making these for someone else as I have never been a fan of this type of cookie and WOW. Hands down, best oatmeal raisin cookies EVER. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

I followed everything to a T and they turned out perfectly! My only suggestion is if you are using salted butter to omit the salt in the recipe. These are fabulous! Made exactly 18 giant bakery-sized cookies!
