Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
Wonderful recipe - thank you Ann. My children love this recipe! I add any fruit I have on hand. It comes out great. Pineapple is really great - I omit all the extra sugar. Fruit and a little raspberry preserves is all you need. I use my pampered chef food chopper and I'm done in no time.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
Awesome recipe! Not only does the pie look picture perfect - it tastes even better. I added a bit of Cinn. to the apples. I used salted butter (all I had) and as a shortcut - I make two at a time. I used frozen deep dish pie crusts and then used the roll out ready to use pie crusts to make the lattice. Super simple - and the end results is perfect.

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
Your search for a perfect cheesecake ends here! This recipe is hands down the best I have ever had. I have used this base for years and always gets rave reviews. If you are not a big chocolate fan try using a homemade grahm cracker crust and feel free to leave out the chocolate chips. Really wonderful!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
These are to die for. I have been making these for years. If you have not made them - give them a try - you will be glad you did. Here are a few tried and true shortcuts. I use my food processor (this helps to make the oreos crumbs fine) also cuts the prep time in half. I always refrigerate the balls first on a wax paper covered cookie sheet (for about 30 minutes). Then to cover them - I use chocolate almond bark (you can find at wal-mart) it really melts and covers well. Dipping the cold balls in the chocolate helps it set fast. Also, I usually only get about 30 from the recipe (not 42 as the recipe shows)

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
Awesome banana bread - I skipped the nuts and it was delish! Other than the nuts, I followed the recipe to a tee - it was moist, rich and had a almost nutty flavor. This will be my banana bread go to recipe from now on!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2013
Great flavor and easy to make. This was my first recipe using quinoa and we were very pleased with the turn out. Followed the recipe exactly as written and my husband loved it (was a bit spicy for me and will use 1/2 the cayenne next time. Give it a try - it's a wonderful healthy alternative to a starchy side when you are trying to eat healthy!
