French Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
Not very traditional as far as french bread goes, but very very good for a quick white bread.

Thai Fish Cakes

I didn't use the green onion or cilantro cause I didn't have any, but added garlic. Was not "bland" but needed some aditional flavor or sauce. Very good none the less, but could be improved with an extra spice or two

Curry-Style Chicken and Spinach

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
I made a lot of changes but it turned out great. i went heavy on all the spices. i added potatoes, onion, and green pepper. Because of the potoes I used a whole can of coconut milk and 1 cup of the chicken broth. The flavor was weird so I put 1 tablespoon curry paste in, 3 teaspoons brown sugar and 2 tablespoons tamarind juice. Turned out great. So definately i didnt make the original recipe but my version was great!

Apple Turnovers

easy, tasty. The dough was hard to work with and it dripped out the edges. Will not make this same recipe again. I like the concept though

Awesome. Great dish. I added some frozen spinach and potatoes. Added a lot! Also used less butter. Only 1/4 cup. Didn't notice a difference

Seafood Lasagna I

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Big hit with my husband and a good spin on lasagne. I put spinach and broccoli as a layer before adding the cheese to add some more veggies to the dish. Also I reduced the mozzerella to make more healthy. Overall great dish!

Apple Bavarian Torte

Easy and wonderful! Definately is a good idea to soften the apples first in the microwave. Also I used reduced fat cream cheese and was still great!

Spiced Yogurt Pound Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
I turned this into an apple cake which really was wonderful. I had a problem with the cooking time, the cake had to be cooked much longer as it was still raw in the middle.
