Valentine's Day Dinner: Steak and Cilantro Scallops

Valentine's Day this year, we decided to stay in and cook. She loves
scallops, I love spicy, so we decided to go with a pan seared scallop
dusted in chili pepper with a lime-jalapeno sauce. I've never made
scallops myself, so this was a real learning experience. I served them
with a strip steaks seasoned with a blend of ground peppercorns and
coriander. And you can't have steak and scallops without a baked potato.
This scallop recipe came from Weight Watchers
I stuck with it because of my lack of experience with these sweet
beauties. They didn't sear as well as I'd have liked, so I think I will
up the temperature a little next time. But the taste was wonderful, the
sweetness of the scallops came through, but with just a little kick
from the sauce. The steak came out beautifully.
These delicious scallops are only 123 calories with 3 grams of fat and 4 of fiber.
