Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel
The best apple pie I've ever had! I followed the recipe almost exactly, with only a couple slight changes. As another person suggested, I applied egg whites to the crust and baked it for 10 minutes while I prepped the other ingredients, and that did the trick to keep the crust crusty even after the pie sat overnight. I also like to cut my apple into cubes rather than slices to keep a little bit of the apple texture after baking. And I may try this recipe again with brown sugar instead of white, because that's usually my preference in an apple pie. But this is now my go-to pie recipe. Love!

Easy Tuna Casserole
I give this recipe three stars as it is, but I do think it's a good starting point and has a lot of potential. I love that it requires only a handful of ingredients and it's quick! But I found it to be a bit too dry for my taste. I will probably double the soup and/or add some milk, as well as some veggies for extra flavor. I modified (for lower fat) by omitting the fried onions and instead topping it with some minced onions and panko bread crumbs.

Banana Banana Bread
This was my first banana bread and I was very pleased! My husband prefers his very dense while I like mine moist, and I found this recipe to be a good compromise between the two. Based on the suggestions from other reviews, I did not measure my bananas but just used 6 medium sized. I also made a few modifications to fit my tastes, including substituting wheat flour for regular and margarine for butter. I also used 3/4 cup chopped walnuts. For some spice I added 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp vanilla extract. And I sprinkled the top with packed brown sugar for a little sweet crunch. Yum!
