Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
really enjoyed the "corn salsa"! It was the perfect balance to the spicy fish.

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
Good but not great. Used the muffin tins and needed 2 things of crescent rolls. Added paprika, cayenne and instead of pimento used roasted bell peppers.

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
Better for weekend cooking than weeknight cooking. The shrimp tasted like yummy caramel popcorn.

Jimmy Dean Sausage Cheese Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
Really good. They roll out better if you let them sit on the counter a little bit. The pork and biscuit mix will combine easier.

Slow Cooker Chicken Parisienne

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
My husband and I didn't like this at all. It was very bland despite my continually adding pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper.

Fried Corn with Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
I have made this dish or a variation of this dish 2 times now. The first time I followed the recipe pretty closely - just left out the MSG. The 2nd time, I added LOTS of paprika, seasoning salt, and cayenne pepper. These spices made it super yummy! We also use turkey smoked sausage-fewer calories and you can't taste the difference with all the spicy flavor.

Apple Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
I only made 2 changes - 1) used cinnamon sugar instead of cinnamon because that's what I had on hand. Didn't really make it taste much different. 2) Added a tbs vanilla to the sauce because I love vanilla. My husband loved this recipe. Mine didn't get as golden brown as they probably should have despite cooking for 30 minutes and were "gooey" but that's how the husband likes it. So, it was all good. Very good way to use extra taco shells!

Sesame Tilapia

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
Didn't completely follow the recipe but it was really good. I used the sesame oil but instead of the Italian seasoning I used Emeril's Oriental Seasoning which made the dish a little spicy but very good.

Crust for Veggie Pot Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
I didn't have the "correct" ingredients on hand. I followed the measurements but used self-rising flour and butter and just omitted the salt. The crust was so wonderful and I think would make an excellent biscuit recipe as well. As mentioned in previous reviews, letting the dough set does make for easier rolling.
