Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2014
Excellent sauce! I made as written except used low fat beef to cut some calories and used white onion instead of yellow and it was great on my spaghetti. The only change that I will make next time is to add mushrooms.

Kelsey's Cheesy Bacon Breasts

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2014
These were very good! I didn't have breast, so I substituted thighs and used real bacon bits and was a very good dish

Lasagna Alfredo

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2014
This was very good. I followed the recipe, but cut in half since I was only cooking for 2. Next time I will add some garlic.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2014
I followed the recipe as written, except I cut the cheese in half to cut calories and these were great! I will definitely make again.

Quick and Easy Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2014
I love this recipe! My husband is not big on pasta dishes, so I made it for my lunches for the week. I cut the pasta down to 2 cups and the Velveeta down to 6 oz and used can chicken, just for convenience and I thought it was great! There was nice spice from the Rotel, but not too much.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2014
This was a good recipe, but I made a few changes to lighten it up by reducing the butter and both cheeses. I cut the recipe in half since there are only two of us and it was the perfect size. I also used the no bake noodles, which I wouldn't recommend since here wasn't enough liquid to cook them through. It was good, but I'm sure it would have been even better as written.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2014
This was very good, but I was concerned about the calorie content, so I used light rotini pasta (didn't have any spaghetti), beef, sour cream and cream cheese. I followed the advice of another reviewer and added onion with the green pepper to the beef while cooking. I also added the cheese mixture to the pasta, so it wouldn't get dry as other had issues with. This was very good.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2014
This recipe is super easy to make and tastes great. It is a little time consuming, but worth the time. I took the recommendations of another and cooked the onions until they were just starting to turn a light brown (about 45 minutes). I don't believe it would have tasted so good, if I would have put the broth in earlier. I didn't have sherry on hand, so I used white wine which is listed as a substitute on line and also cut the thyme in half as it is not my favorite spice. I will definitely make this again.

Easy Lasagna I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2014
This was good. I had extra ground beef in the frig, so I used a pound and a half of meat. I also skipped the cottage cheese after reading the reviews of there being to much cheese. I added 8 oz of tomato sauce, but still feel there could have been more, as it wasn't very saucy.

Sarah's Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2014
This was very good. I am only cooking for 2, so I cut the recipe in half and cooked in a 2 qt casserole dish. I followed the recipe exactly, but mad a lightened version with fiber gourmet (high fiber) noodles, low fat cottage cheese and 1/4 cup of skim milk. I cooked covered for 45 minutes and uncovered for 10 minutes and it wasn't soupy at all. A nice change from traditional lasagna!

Applesauce Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
This was good. I made in the crock pot and omitted the mustard. I also used red onion as someone else recommended. I only had unsweetened applesauce, which I think is what the recipe was lacking in the end, sweetness.

Spinach Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
This recipe was excellent. I didn't have frozen spinach, so I used fresh, that I had on hand. I chopped up approximately 2 cups of fresh and added that to the mixture. I also took the recommendations of others and used cream cheese in place of the mayo and they were excellent. I rolled them up in tin foil to put in the fridge to set.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
This was excellent. I followed the recipe as written, but the jar of pizza sauce was 2 oz short of what I needed. I definitely think it would have benefitted from more sauce. Other than that, the only thing I changed was that I added additional cheese because our family likes cheese. Will definitely make again.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2013
This recipe was good, but a little greasy for my taste. As other reviewers suggested, I added a cracker to give it some crunch. I used a flipz cracker with pretzel on one side and cracker on the other. There was way too much of the breading and think if I make again, I would use much less of the regular bread crumbs and less butter.

Oven Roasted Parmesan Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
These were ok, but not as good as I was hoping. I had to use a lot more oil to get them coated and then they were still sticking to the pan. Taste was just ok. I have other oven potato recipes that were better.

Busy Day Slow Cooker Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2013
This was very easy and tasty. I didn't have 2 cans of Rotel, so I just used stewed tomatoes for one of the cans and it was still plenty spicy for our taste.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This was very good as is, but I highly recommend covering the dish when you put it in the oven to avoid having it all burn to the bottom of the pan.

Angel's Ravioli Alfredo with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2013
Loved this easy recipe! I excluded the red pepper flakes and green onion because they didn't sound like they would add to the dish, but to make it a full meal, I added cooked diced chicken thigh. Will definitely make again.
