I live in a very close-knit community in the Maritimes surrounded by great cooks. I've been learning for ages but I've only started taking cooking seriously the past few years. Befoe it was just something that had to be done, now I love doing it! Anything that puts a smile on my friends' and family's face! Each year just before Christmas my mother and I get together and make a whole bunch of different appetizers that can go in the freezer and pulled out when company comes over the holidays. It truly is my favorite day of the year. Hahah....I haven't poisoned anyone.....yet. Lots - my biggest tragedy is that no matter how hard I try or how often, I CAN'T bake. I'm awful at it!
