OMG This is the BEST Mushroom Soup I've ever tasted! I've always loved the cream of mushroom soups you get in the grocery store, but was always leery of trying to make it myself. I never knew it could be THIS easy :) I followed the recipe as is, just adding some minced garlic, garlic powder, and omitting the salt (since the chicken broth already had enough in it). All I had on hand was chicken stock mix and I figured out that 14.5 oz is 1.8 cups, and it worked fine - I just added more as I saw fit. But WOW, what a hearty and delicious soup :) Will be making this regularly! *UPDATE: Made this soup AGAIN the next day, but used a whole bag of frozen brocolli florets and doubled the milk and chicken broth :) Just as yummy! Next, will try making a potato version...
