Rosenmunnar

I love these cookies. I look through every recipe and often question 5 star ratings. BUT this is one 5 star that deserves a plus! It's easy, buttery and good. Perfect for the holidays. Since you can adjust the topping/filling, you can personalize then cookies to your taste. Will make again and again. Amazingly easy.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
Don't expect the traditional casserole here. It's got tang! Every holiday I'm asked to make this and it all goes. No more cream of mushroom casserole for us. This is it.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2004
This turned out looking as good as the picture. I did follow some other suggestions like making my own whipped cream so it wasn't as sweet. It is very sweet and best served to a large group of people since small servings are best. I was very impressed and loved the different options it opened up. I did layer and top the trifle with crushed chocolate toffee pieces as well. It tasted as good 2 days later. LOVED IT!!!!!

Pittsburgh Chipped Ham Barbecues

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2003
This is a true Pittsburgh recipe! I usually don't add liquid smoke or cinammon and I think that everyone who grew up in Pgh has their own way to prepare it, but I LOVE HAM BBQ'S!!!!!! And this was great.

It's a great make at home crust. Not quite what I was looking for, but my husband and kids loved it! It was better the second time I made it.

Busy Day Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2001
I've made this so many times that I try to vary the recipe here and there. I've added Mozzarella cheese the last 25 min. of baking, used different "Cream of" soups, added broccoli and tried making it with canned French Onion Soup when I was in a pinch. It's always comes out great. I like to serve it with some French Baguette Bread and a Green Salad. One of my husband's and kid's favorites!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2001
Excellent Recipe! I didn't brown the meat or have the stewed tomatoes(I just used a can of tomato soup). My husband loved it and I will make this often! Served it with a side of Steamed Broccoli for an all round great meal!

Iced Tea II

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2001
I love using this recipe! I also have tried using flavored teas and fresh fruit purees(which makes it cloudy, but good!) Give it a try!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2001
I just loved this recipe! The bread stayed moist even after sitting for 2 days. Try adding extra flavorings(like vanilla extract, almond extract, nutmeg or cinammon) for something different each time you make it.
