Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken
This was wonderful. Somehow I've made it almost 40 years without ever making fried chicken. I was a bit intimidated. But, this recipe got rave reviews and it seemed pretty easy. I used our wok and did everything as described except we cut up our chicken into strips for our kids. This cut down on the cooking time by a few minutes. And the results? Wow! Everyone gobbled them up and loved them. The taste was the garlic powder (be sure to use 2 TBSP and not 2 tsp) added to the mix. We'll be making this for years to come! I'm not intimidated anymore!

Cowboy Hash
I only gave this three stars because it's just "okay" and a bit bland without some modifications. I added in some tomato sauce and 2 Tbsp of Taco Seasoning to spice it up. That seemed to do the trick. The kids liked it! They called it "soup," beacause I put in the juice from the canned corn.

Cornbread Muffins I
These were very good. I put less sugar and honey than the recipe called for because we were eating them with Cowboy Hash. However, they are sweet enough to enjoy as breakfast muffins. The family gives it two thumbs up!
