Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
It was okay, but way too sweet! I recommend omitting the brown sugar all together and using fresh chicken breasts.

I did not care for this recipe. This was watery and bland with too much crunch.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
Marinated beef in red wine, omitted white wine. Used 2 TBS cornstarch and 2 TBS flour instead of 4 TBS flour. Browned beef, than removed from pan to cook onions and garlic, then stirred in broth and flour/cornstarch, added beef back in. Used fresh mushrooms and let them simmer with the beef. Added cream cheese at the end.

Quick and Super Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
I sauteed onion and celery in a bit of oil before adding the broth and chicken. I also threw in a bag of mixed veggies and some black pepper. It was a little too salty for my taste! Next time I will use fresh chicken and reduced sodium broth.

Black Beans and Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
Soooo good. I threw it all in the crock pot (on high for 3 hours) and served it over spanish rice. Next time I'll add two cans of beans, because they were a huge hit!
