Caramel Popcorn Balls
I found these to be just meh...I followed the directions exactly and found that heating the caramel for as long as the recipe called for made for very brittle caramel once it cooled. I don't like my popcorn balls to burst to pieces when you try to take a bite of it. I'm more of a truly chewy popcorn ball person. When it was still warm it was very good and it the taste is fine as well. I should have stopped just beyond soft ball stage and I've have been good. I used two bags of microwave popcorn and that was a bit too much. Three bags would have been WAY over what was needed for the amount of caramel called for.

Banana Cake Cookies
I made these cookies today so I could use up the last two bananas of the bunch. They are very good. Moist and tasty. Although, as another reviewer noted, these are more like banana cakes in cookie form. They aren't a firm cookie consistency at all. That being said, they are delicious and a wonderful way to use up bananas that are just about to be too ripe. I drizzled chocolate icing over them my husband declared them PERFECT! Also, make sure that when you drop them on the cookie sheet you aren't using too much. These spread quite a bit. I was only putting 6 per sheet and the first batch resulted in a couple running together. Smaller scoops fixed that right up and they were prefect.

Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread
This turned out great!! I used sugar free instant choc pudding and the "quick Amish bread starter" given by another reviewer. I also added a cup of semi sweet chocolate chips. The only thing that gave me trouble was this took FOREVER to bake all the way through. I swear by the time I was done I had baked it nearly 75 minutes! At 60 minutes it was still completely undone in the middle. I'm not sure if increasing the oven temp from the get go would help with that. Although even with all that baking, the bread was still soft and cake like and SO delicious. Definitely a keeper!!!
