Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
Great recipe! We add in extra vegetables (green pepper, mushrooms, whatever we have around!) but otherwise make it exactly as the recipe states. Delicious hot out of the over or reheated the next day.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
These are amazing! I followed the recipe exactly except slightly less macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips. The flavor is wonderful, my favorite white choc. macadamia recipe yet!

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
Delicious! This was my first time making corn bread and I can't believe how easy it was! I followed the recipe exactly and baked for about 24 minutes. Perfect texture and a light sweetness that everyone enjoyed!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
My husband and I have been using this as our go-to pizza crust recipe for about 2 years now. It is excellent and so easy! We've found that the pizza comes out best when baked on a hot pizza stone for about 18 minutes. We sometimes spread a mixture of melted butter and garlic powder around the crust before baking. Yum!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
Not a bad recipe, but it definitely needs a bit more flavor. Also, I followed the recipe exactly and 2 cans of beans is WAY too much. I'll definitely try this again with a few changes.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
I've made this recipe several times and the pancakes always come out great! I'd recommend doubling the recipe - this definitely doesn't make 8 pancakes. We love this recipe with a cup of blueberries or strawberries added in - yum!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
Delicious! I made these for a family brunch and they disappeared quickly. My only change was brown sugar instead of white sugar for the topping, and I left the the topping off of half of them in case anyone wanted plain muffins. They were wonderful either way!

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
Great recipe! I added a little extra milk and vanilla per other reviews and the taste was delicious! Definitely a bit more dense than a boxed white cake mix, but it works perfect for cupcakes. I used a very thick chocolate frosting with this recipe and got rave reviews.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
I've made this pasta salad for several cookouts and get togethers and its always a big hit. I toss half of the oil mixture in with the Italian dressing mix before refrigerating, then add the rest of the oil mixture about 30 minutes before serving. No need to make this the night before like most pasta salads, I typically make it the morning of and it tastes the same. I definitely recommend this recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
These are wonderful! I was a little skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews (saying the cookies tasted processed, hard, or cake-like). Those people must have made the cookies wrong because these are truly delicious cookies! Be sure to use instant pudding, not cook and serve. This was a very simple recipe - the dough took me about 15 minutes to whip up. I did add baking powder, a pinch of salt, and a bit more vanilla as recommended by other users. Oh and these do not puff up like some of the pictures show. They bake flat and spread out like a normal chocolate chip cookie. I'll definitely be making these again!

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
Delicious! I left out the green onions and only used 1.5 Tablespoons of corn starch. I mixed the corn starch into about 1/2 cup of water and poured that into the reheated sauce mixture. It was the perfect consistency. We also used 3 chicken breasts instead of 2 so we could have leftovers, and we still had plenty of extra sauce. This recipe is really wonderful, I wouldn't change anything else about it. My husband ate every last bite and said it was better than Orange Chicken from a restaurant!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
Delicious! I only had 2 ripe bananas so I added about 5 Tablespoons of homemade chunky applesauce in place of the third banana. I also added a few dashes of cinnamon. I used white sugar instead of brown sugar for the crumb topping because its all I had on hand. It still came out wonderful. This made 12 perfectly sized muffins. I baked for about 22 minutes at 375.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
This is a delicious and easy recipe! It tastes just like broccoli cheese soup from a restaurant - yum! I doubled the cheese and broccoli, replaced the milk with half & half (fat free), and left out the water. Stir the cornstarch into the 4th can of chicken broth instead, and add it in at the end. This is definitely a new favorite meal for my family!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
I made this recipe as cupcakes and they turned out great! I used 1 full cup of unsweetened cocoa instead of 3/4 cup to bring out the chocolate flavor. I also added 2 Tablespoons of old coffee (leftover from this morning) to the boiling water to bring out the chocolate flavor even more. I made sure to sift all dry ingredients. I think this is key to making this an extremely light and fluffy cupcake. These are really delicious, even without frosting! I'll be making this recipe again!

Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Delicious recipe! I used 5 T. cornstarch and it was the perfect consistency after sitting overnight. I also added 1 full teaspoon of ground cinnamon and it gave it a delicious flavor. I would stick with the 3/4 cup of sugar. Any more will make it runny, and its just enough to make it sweet. I baked at 400 degrees for 55 minutes with a lattice top. I used a homemade flaky crust and it was perfect!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
I can't believe how amazing these are! They were so easy to make and tasted like store-bought chocolate candies. Everyone who tasted these asked how I made them. The inside is so gooey, just like a real truffle. Its amazing how something so simple is so satisfying! These are also very pretty and would make a great gift if packaged nicely!

Greek Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
This is a good recipe! I used 1/4 cup red wine vinegar and 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (instead of 1/2 cup red wine vinegar) and everyone loved the flavor! I left out the mushrooms and feta cheese. Next time I will also leave out the green onions, it made some bites a little too bitter! Otherwise, a fantastic recipe and a real crowd pleaser.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
My family's recipe for sugar cookies is this exact recipe except with 1/2 cup less butter. Roll the dough out thick (1/4 to 1/2 inch) to ensure a soft cookie. Be sure to take them out of the oven before they appear done; they brown very easily!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
I made these for a Christmas party and they were a huge hit! I added the spices to the batter as well as the butter topping as mentioned in other reviews. I replaced the water with milk. I doubled the amount of cheese called for in the recipe, and found that it still could have used a little more. I'd recommend about 1 1/2 cups of cheese to make these truly cheesy. I added a dash of Old Bay to the batter, and next time I'll add a little more. Put the butter on after baking for 10 minutes, then pop them back into the oven for 2 minutes for a perfect yummy biscuit!
