Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
It was an okay marinade. I have another marinade that calls for honey vs the syrup that I'm just a tad bit more partial to for salmon. Nothing against this recipe, it is a preference and it certainly wasn't bad, just had higher hopes for it and sadly set myself up for disappointment. My modifications consisted of omitting the garlic salt and adding one more clove of garlic since soy sauce does have a tendency to be high in sodium.

Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
These turned out exceptionally tasty! My daughter has dairy allergies, so I had to make some slight alterations. I substituted the butter shortening for 1/2 cup oil, egg replacer for the eggs and added an additional 1/2 cup of peanut butter. They were yummy, as good as I could expect for having to alter them as much as I did.

No-Bake Peanutty Graham Treats

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Very impressed that all the healthy ingredients produced such a yummy treat! My daughter has enough food allergies that most recipes have at least one ingredient she cannot have (or has too much sugar for what I deem appropriate for a 2 yr old to have), but honey and peanut butter - I can see this recipe being in our family for a very long time (not to mention my husband LOVES peanut butter). The only thing I omitted was the chocolate chips. Thank you for this tasty, healthy recipe.

Lemon-Pepper Salmon II

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
I'm not usually one to leave a review, but I felt this one necessary! We love fish, but I rarely venture to baste it with anything aside from seasonings. My husband loves the way I cook our fish and I don't think he would've ever suggested I change what I'm doing, but his comment to me last night was "this is the best fish you've every cooked!" I cannot take credit from where credit is due, so THANK YOU for a super simple, yummy concoction! We are a VERY busy family and making dinner is sometimes a rush for us, but it just doesn't get any easier than this! **added 9/29/09** have since made this a couple other times and this last time I made it, I thought to add 1 tsp. of honey to the butter/soy sauce. I probably would add even a little more next time, but the hint of sweet was ideal with the soy/butter!!
