I'm a University student (Master's English now, but I just finished Teacher's college as well). I love most food, but stopped eating meat about 6 years ago. I don't spend as much time in the kitchen as I would like to, nor do I have the greatest gadgets, but I am always keen to try something new. I love baking, and making special things for special people. I will try anything once, but I definately have a sweet tooth. My first cheesecake, for my boyfriend's birthday, was probably one of my biggest accomplishments. I once made an Angel food cake that my roommates dubbed "The Lady-finger Lead cake"- it came out eggy and dense... but looking back, the recipe (not from here) may have been slightly to blame....
