Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Perfect pancakes. I've only made pancakes 2 other times and both times they were tough and disappointing. These were awesome and I'm making more tomorrow. Thanks!

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
This was really just perfect. My first Graham cracker crust and I was so excited/amazed when it turned out so perfectly. This is going into my permanent collection. Today, I'm in the baking mood again, but I'm out of graham crackers, so I'm trying this recipe using ground cereal. Thanks!

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
I've been craving biscuits and gravy that a certain place from my hometown made and I was happy to discover this tasted exactly like it. I had 2 bratwurst to use up, so that is what I used. I think next time I'll double the milk and flour like others mentioned. A keeper.

Rolling Fondant

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
This recipe is perfect! I've never made fondant & today felt especially crafty, so I gave it a shot. I sort of mixed it up roughly by hand, then used my bread machine to do all the thorough mixing (in 1/3 portions) and got the most perfect fondant within minutes. This goes in my permanent collection. Thanks

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I made these for Easter a couple years ago and they were amazing. This time I made a loaf to completion in my breadmachine and it turned out AWESOME. I substituted shortening for butter FYI...I don't know if that made any difference. Also, I realized that they taste pretty close to a certain Chinese bun I used to get in Michigan...So I'll be making these again and experimenting to get the Chinese bun thing right. Overall, this is a great basic recipe. Plus, it's one of the only loaves that I can slice to make look like store bought without crumbling all over or smashing inside. Thanks again.

Flax and Sunflower Seed Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
This was easily the greatest bread I've ever made. The crust was so soft and the inside had the perfect texture. I've never really eaten flax....so it took me a while to get used to the flavor of the flax. Flax is really good with honey. I will definitely make this recipe regularly. Thanks, for the great recipe.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
This is a great recipe. Some people said it was runny. So, I rolled the dough into balls and put them on the cookie sheet. I followed the recipe exactly and mine didn't spread out much at all. The next batch I made I shaped into "cookie shapes". These turned out perfect! However, I left them in about 3 minutes too long. Had it not been for my own personal mistake, they would have been absolutely perfect. I will try this recipe again and keep a better eye on the color as they are cooking. The smell alone made the experience worth it!

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
My boyfriend is very picky and said this was the best bread I've ever made. He eats half a toasted bun every morning with his coffee so I have been on a mission to find a good recipe that I could mass produce and freeze to save money. This is it! Thanks for the good and easy recipe. BTW...I mixed/did first rise in my bread machine. Then formed 8 balls and let them rise again. 400degrees 20 min. Perfection.

Awesome. I've been wanting to try to make cheese forever, but figured it would be difficult. I decided to just try a small batch and it is totally cheese! Now I'm thinking of so many creative things to make using this basic recipe. Thanks!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
Good recipe. My boyfriend really liked it and he's picky. I sauteed the garlic, added butter and lemon juice. Seasoned the fish with salt, pepper, and paprika (I didn't have parsley)Then I sealed in the flavor by grilling on oven grill pan thingy...then I added the butter/garlic sauce and let it soak it up on the grill. It was delicious.

This is a great basic recipe. I'm making it for the second time right now and I'm confident that it will turn out as beautifully as last time. This is going into my recipe collection and I will continue to make it regularly.
