Lentils And Spinach

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2015
I really liked this. I did half chicken stock, half water. I added a tbsp. of garam masala, threw some fresh spinach and chopped grape tomatoes on top, and tossed in some chorizo. I might leave out the chorizo next time. This dish has so many possibilities. This will be a go-to for me from now on. Yum!

Provincial Tomatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2013
Easy and scrumptious. I changed it a smidge, using Italian seasoning panko and fresh asiago (which had olive oil and rosemary in it). I served it atop Trader Joe's breaded eggplant discs. It tasted like I spent hours in the kitchen. I made it simply because I had the ingredients in the house and I was not feeling well so I wasn't really in the mood to cook. This was delicious and I can't wait to make it again for some dinner guests.

Cilantro Jalapeno Pesto with Lime

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2012
Spectacular! I followed the recipe exactly as written, though I used a food processor rather than a blender. I took another reviewer's advice and spread this on a toasted baguette with heirloom tomatoes. The cilantro and tomatoes came straight from the local farmer's market. Simply delicious!

Italian Sausage Chili

I added a little honey and used white kidneys. Loved the crunchiness of the veggies. I never made chili before. This was wonderful!

Italian-Style Baked Crispy Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
Fantastic! I didn't add the extra mayo mixture either, as another reviewer mentioned. I also forgot to drizzle the olive oil on the chicken at the end and it didn't seem to make a difference. I will make this for guests in the future and can see making this often. Yummy!

Refreshing Blueberry Soda

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
I wanted to taste this so badly but my basil simple syrup burned. Do you really boil for the full ten minutes? Oh well, I had it without the basil and it was delicious?
