Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
Loved it! Based on the suggestions of others, I ended up using five eggs. I made it a little healthier by using 2% cheese and turkey ham. I also added some fresh spinach, which I lightly sauteed with the onions and some garlic, as some reported that their onions were undercooked. I also reduced the amount of butter to 1/4 cup. I will be making this again!

Sandy's Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
This dish turned out really tasty with a few modifications. I used fresh chicken, and I threw in some broccoli. I didn't have any mushrooms, so I used one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of cream of chicken soup. Everyone loved it and the noodles were cooked perfectly, although it took a little longer to cook than stated (about an hour).

Cabbage Rolls III

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
I have always loved cabbage rolls and didn't know how awesome they could be without the tomato sauce, of which I was never terribly fond. These were amazing! I will cut the recipe in half, though, as we were eating them for weeks afterwards! I basically followed the recipe exactly. My fussy, cabbage-hating boyfriend loved them, as did my Polish-German grandmother, who is very particular about her cabbage rolls. I will be making these again!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
This turned out great! I followed the recipe pretty closely (I like a little more vegetables) and it was well seasoned and very tasty! I don't have a slow cooker, so I cooked it for about an hour and a half on the stovetop. It was fantastic! This was my first time making beef stew, and I was very impressed with the results. I will be making this again!

Fresh Asparagus and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
This was really delicious! I used carrots instead of the red peppers and for liquid used a can of cream of chicken soup, a half cup of milk and about a half cup of sour cream. I cooked it for about 40 minutes and it turned out great. Even the cat liked it :)
