Soft Oatmeal Cookies

These cookies were delicious! I made these for Christmas and did three different additions, raisins, craisins, and raisinets. No adjustments of any kind were needed, these are perfect the way they are!

Apple Crumb Pie

This was one tasty pie! The only changes I made were in some of the spices (I used ginger, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg,) I added a little cinnamon to the topping, and used an addition 1 Tblsp of butter in the topping. I have made this twice and it has been a hit both times.

Easy Salsa Meatloaf

This is a great recipe. I love that it is customizable, depending on what kind of salsa you want to use. I made mine with ground pork and salsa verde. I replaced the parsley with fresh cilantro and used a Mexican four cheese blend instead of cheddar. I will definitely make this again!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These were delicious! I made a double batch so I could eat them for a few days. I wasn't sure if they would be too sugary since I like my blueberry muffins way less sweet than coffee shop muffins so instead of 1 1/2 cups (for a double batch) I only used 1 cup. They came out great but I bet they would be good either way. I love brown sugar so I also used brown instead of white sugar in the crumb topping. I will definitely be making these again very soon!

Chicken Suiza Cornbread Bake

This was quite delicious! My mother makes a corn pudding recipe that is almost identical to the bottom portion of this recipe so when I saw this I knew we had to make it. I did make a few changes based on our families taste preferences: We used real eggs and full fat sour cream and sauteed portabella mushrooms. The mushrooms did not make a big impression on us so I think in the future we will leave them out. Overall a wonderfull dish!

Basic Cheesecake

Great basic cheesecake recipe. The crust was really tasty. The only problem I had was my cheesecake puffed up a lot and then sank and the top got over-browned, it still tasted good!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

These were so yummy and so easy to make. I only made two changes. I used 3/4 cup of yogurt and 1/4 cup oil instead of 1/2 and 1/2 and I added pumpkin pie spice.

GA Peach Pound Cake

This cake was quite tasty! Others had suggested that there was not enough peachy-ness so I added about a cup of mashed peaches (with pumpkin pie spice) to the batter and I think it worked for the best. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly and it was yummy.

Triple Berry Crisp

I was searching for a recipe to use up a bunch of blueberries I had and chose this because of it's numerous great ratings. I did as others suggested, I used 6 cups of fruit (blueberries and white peaches) and reduced the butter to 1 cup. This came out wonderfuly delicious! I had extra topping so I baked it separately and will use it as ice cream topping.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were absolutely delicious! I added some Pumpkin Pie Spice because I love it so much and that worked out really well. I had a problem with the heat. 400 was way too high, my first batch I threw away. Not sure if my oven runs hot or what but I turned it down to 350 and baked them for 12 minutes and they came out perfect.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

These were very tasty. They cooked up dense yet fluffy like a cake, an interesting pancake experience. I guess if you were to serve these with eggs and bacon they could serve 8 but my husband and I used almost the entire batter by ourselves just eating pancakes for breakfast. The only changes to the recipe I made were to add vanilla and to use oil instead of butter. Overall these were fantastic and I will definitely be making them again!

Sauteed Apples

Possibly one of the most delicious thing ever. I used pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon because I love the extra flavor. While cooking it smelled like autumn in a pan! Definitely will be making this again to eat over pancakes!

Banana Spice Cookies

I had gotten a bit tired of making banana bread with my leftover bananas and found this recipe. I wish I had used chocolate chips but they are fabulous nonetheless. I ate them without any frosting but I will have to try that next time.
