Banana Split Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Not bad... Not as sweet as a lot of people claimed it was, which is surprising, but still not bad at all. I'll probably make it again and use some different fruits.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Didn't have as much kick to it as I wanted, but still delicious. Next time, I'll add a little chili flakes

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
I doubled the recipe and added 1/4c extra ham because we all know meat = awesome. I don't know what child bowls they fill for "8 servings" with the original, but I doubled it and got roughly 6 servings from it. Anyway, I thought it was decent, perhaps a bit too much pepper, but I was rushing the end of it as I had cut my finger and spilled the milk while trying to get this done =(. Next time, less pepper and maybe I'll throw in some peas or corn. I don't know where this "bland" flavor is coming from some of these reviewers, but perhaps they should quit smoking and taste food....

Baked Paprika-Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
Maybe closer to 3.5 stars... I'm giving it a 4 because I left it in the oven after the full cooking time (with the oven off) to keep it warm and may or may not have made it a bit dry. Flavor wise, Not too bad, however, I used Ramano instead of Parmesan.. Yeah, I'll make it again, and probably a few times after that too

Guy Approved Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
First, I Didnt use Chips or Crackers, I used about 1.5 cups of Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs. Second, For the BBQ sauce I used one called "Cattle Boyz Original BBQ Sauce". It has a nice little kick to it. For anyone who complains its "Too Greasy", try cooking the bacon about 1/3 of the way on a George Foreman grill and eliminate most of the grease. I started cooking this when the lil' lady was at work, and it was about 20 minutes from done when she came in and I didnt even get a "Hello" I got a "What smells so fantastic?". It smelled great, but the real question becomes... taste... It wasn't dry, or moist, or crumbly.. it was perfect. It was a bit greasy in the bottom of the loaf tray, but whatever. This is going into my book of recipes for future use. To recap, only changes: Only used bread crumbs, not crackers/chips and I baked mine in a loaf tray, UNCOVERED..

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
For starters, I used the full 1/2c sugar and Mayonaise, not Miracle Whip - Turned out Excellent, with the exception of being a bit too sweet, but still very edible. Bringing it with me to a BBQ Tomorrow. Next time, Probably reduce it down to about 1/3c
