Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
I scored some major points with this one! Thanks to Patty for making me look good. :) I have even made it without bananas for someone who doesn't like them and it was still very good just as pudding and wafers.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2012
I'll never buy another packet of taco seasoning again! Make up a large batch and put in a container and your set for awhile.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
Made this for Easter breakfast...so delicious! I used the suggestions of whipping my cream cheese with powdered sugar, but did use the full two packages and didn't feel like it was too much at all. Only used 10 eggs. May even decrease to 9 next time. Definitely a keeper!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
Yummy mashed potatoes and a great solution to making these ahead and keeping these warm while other dishes are cooking. I made these the night before and did have to add milk the next day to make them creamy again when I was ready to heat them.

Sooo good and even better the following day. Used the chicken broth suggestion. 2 large breasts seemed enough.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
Enjoyed by all. Used a roasting pan and it was just enough sauce. Think I will double it next time so I can freeze the extra for another use.

I cut down the quantity and used only 1 stick of butter, but otherwise stuck to the recipe. Very good!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

This lived up to the ratings it has received. Used 2 large boiled chicken breasts, ranch dressing and layered (as another reviwer suggested) and baked for 25 min at 350. Served with Scoops. Delicious!

Oreo® Cookie Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
This is more like pudding, rather than "cake", but it was gobbled up immediately. I used chocolate pudding. Definitely a keeper.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
I have made this many times. Takes some work and is a little messy, so if you have freezer space, make more than 1 and go ahead and roll it out on a pizza pan, cover with heavy foil and freeze. Just thaw it out for your next pizza.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Made these today. Very delicious and soft. Used an ice cream scooper (careful not to make them too big), baked 350 for 12 min and they turned out great.

These were delicious! I froze them on a cookie sheet in balls and then, dipped them using the spoon and fork method. Better the next day.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2013
This was pretty darn good! We had a very cheap cut of steak. I was looking for a way for it not to be as tough as it normally is. Here's what I did. Covered it in kosher salt for 1 1/2 hr. Washed off the salt. Marinated in this mixture for a couple of hours in the fridge. Then, took it out and let it warm up to room temperature and grilled. What a difference!

Pecan Pie V

Delicious taste, but was crumbly when I tried to slice it. Any suggestions to avoid this problem? Would be perfect if that could be fixed.
