Homemade Pizza Supreme
About this Cook
I'm a young charismatic cook who is recovering from a 5 year long eating disorder. I have a passion for life and never let the small "oopsy's" bring me down. My love for cooking comes from my dad who loves to create new things in the kitchen. He's also one of my best friends =] My other best friend is the love of my life, Justin, who supports me in anything i do and always makes sure to be my tester in the kitchen.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Italian foods of all kinds. Ive had a few love/hate relationships with some Fettuccine Alfredo recipes on here but i finally found one that fits my taste just perfect (Quick and easy Alfredo sauce from this site).I'm also just in love with baking. On a free day, i can cook all day long. Any left overs my family leaves, i baggy them up and take them to my sister or dad. I'm more of a late night, spurt moment baker but I've had very few recipes that haven't been up to my standards. Some of my favorite recipes from this site are: Banana cream pie 1, Janet's Rich Banana Bread, Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread, Best Chocolate Chip Cookies, One Bowl Brownies, Clone of a Cinnabon, Good Old Fashioned Pancakes, Golden Potato Soup, Blueberry Buckle, Apple bread, Lasagna Roll-ups, The Best Potato Salad, No Bake Cookies V, Sophie's Zucchini Bread, and (last but not least) Kraut Beirocks. Believe it or not, on average, i make all of these things at least once a week.
My cooking triumphs
This could take all day =] I'm the master baker of the house hold so I make dozens and dozens of cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cupcakes, etc, etc. I'm also great at whipping up great hearty dinners with few ingredients and limited time. I have an extreme passion for trying out new stuff and mastering recipes.
My cooking tragedies
Cheesecake. I'm a big fan of The Golden Girls and since they are the cheesecake connoisseurs, i figured it would be fun for me to make one. It always looked easy to me (even though i knew there was an art to it) and i have proven to be a darn good baker so I tried a recipe that had 5 stars and was supposed to be a "cheesecake for idiots" recipe. It turned out to be a disaster. I made 4 cheesecakes without a spring-form pan and they over rose and got ALL OVER the oven. It was a huge smoky mess plus i had spent $30 for all the stuff that went in to it. That was about 6 months ago and i haven't tried or wanted to make any kind of cheesecake since. I have since recovered from the incident and have finally found a cheesecake i actually wanna give a try. Its the Autumn Cheesecake on this site and it looks great. I figure i will give it a shot in the Fall months. Keep me in your prayers.

Whole Wheat Muffins
This is a great healthy recipe! I wanted the muffins to be very low in calories with lots of fiber so i used 2 egg whites instead of one whole egg, i replaced ALL the sugar for Splenda, i used all whole wheat flour and no white, i replaced the oil for unsweetened apple sauce, and finally i added 1 tablespoon of wheat germ and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. With all that the muffins are just under 100 calories and taste great! These are a great snack and breakfast food & im happy i came upon this recipe! Will make again! NOTE: Remember when cooking with Splenda that your baked items will cook much faster. It took these muffins only 10 minutes to be done.

Black Magic Cake
This recipe is heaven sent! Followed it exactly except i did not have buttermilk or regular milk so i put 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of soy milk and 5 minutes later i had dairy free buttermilk! This cake was extremely moist and didn't have a bitter coffee taste. The coffee only enhanced the chocolate so you wouldn't even know it was in there which i was thankful for! I can never get a cake out successfully with my old cake pans so i foiled them & buttered and flowered them and the baked cakes came out with out the slightest of problem. This cake was amazing and i was so proud to bring my dad (the chocolate cake king) over a huge hunk of it! He said he's never tried a cake so moist! Not even store bought =] Thank you so much for this recipe! Will definitely make again & again.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
I wanted so badly to find a recipe to chocolate chip cookies that would make the warm cozy perfect cookies that you see in movies. I was so overwhelmingly happy that i found it! The appearance is like a perfect little store bought cookie but the taste is all lovingly homemade. They melt in your mouth and have the creamy vanilla flavor from the pudding mix. Perfectly chewy and not cakey or hard like some other reviewers mentioned. I left them all lined out on parchment paper over night and they still had the perfect chewy texture to them the next day (and for the next 2 or so days). My go to recipe on here just wasn't cutting it for me anymore because they always turned out flat, cracky, and soggy (cough, Best chocolate cookies recipe from this site, cough cough). I'm so glad i wanted to venture out and find something worth my while because this was it! I made exactly as the recipe stated except i cut it in half. Loved every bite of this cookie and these are gonna make me so proud to give out to my family on the Holidays! Thank you so much!
