Texas Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
i used mission flour tortillas but they started to puff up in the fryer so i had to poke holes around the egg roll before deep frying them. i think i will use the thinner flour tortillas as they don't take too long to brown thus less greasier

Best Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
WHAAAAT??!!!!!This is so freakin' good. Excuse my languish. I tried this before at potlucks and all u can eat buffets and I used to think 'whats so great about this?'. Then I thought I need to add a veggie side to my thanksgiving dinner and chose this becuz its one of those traditional dishes. I followed the recipe except I used frozen french style green beans, just make sure you thaw them out before use. So delicious. I'm not a big fan of canned veggies, except maybe corn. Thank you thank you, my new addition to holiday meals. Yipeeee!!!!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2013
I added 1/4 c more of flour as others suggested. Delish! The smaller the cookie the better as I like 'em crunchy. Very peanut buttery. I made 2 batches and added chocolate chips to the second and even better as I like a little variety.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
taste just like the one in hometown buffet. i added 2 cans of biscuits and left them whole, didn't rip 'em up. i also added frozen mix veggies and celery. very good. can't mess it up. also i agree with krista, you need more than 30 min. for biscuits to cook. since i did 2 cans i put in 1 hour and 1 half before ready.

Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
i put an extra can of artichoke and 1 can of diced tomatoes and chiles according to some of the reviews on here. delish! update: 2nd time making it i added 1 extra can of artichokes, parmasean cheese, 1 c mayo, 1/2 cup of cream cheese, 1 diced roma tomato and it was actually better. that cream cheese made it more creamier.

Whipped Cream Filling

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
i used it to do a banana cream filing for a cake and used the rest to frost the cake. i did add more sugar as it wasn't enough sweetness as someone else mentioned. very basic recipe like going out to buy whip cream in a tub.

Very simple and tastes delicious. 1 package is not enough. Next time I'll do 4 pkgs. I had some pepper jack cubes, didn't know what to do with them. I also added 1/4 cup Mexican cheese shredded and garlic salt.

so simple i can't believe i never tried this before. i adjusted to taste by adding more relish and putting lemon on the fish instead of in the sauce. very yummy.
