Spaghetti and Chipotle Meatballs

Holy Hot! The meatballs were too hot for my husband and I to take (and we like hot food!) and we could not serve it to our young daughters because of that. This recipe has some potential, but it was just far too hot for us.

Spoiled Baby Back Ribs

First off, DOUBLE the sauce. Second off...SO GOOD. The meat is tender and juicy from being boiled. The sauce is like a sweet bbq sauce, it is not spicy, so if you are looking for that you will need to modify it. My husband is a BIG rib guy (like most men) and he LOVED these. Wanted to have them again the next night :) Thank you for the recipe!

Cake Batter Ice Cream

Excellent. Thick, creamy custard ice cream! The cake batter taste was a little muted, I would add more cake mix next time (perhaps even doubled). But still, was a wonderful recipe!

Scottish Shortbread IV

Very tasty, heavy shortbread. Bake for less time (no more than 20 min) and possibly at a lesser temp (I turned it down just a touch to 315 instead of 325 and baked for 20 min and they came out just right). I burned the first pan on 325 for 20 min and my oven bakes about right on if not a touch hot. Very good, would go great with coffee. YUMMY!

WOW. I ate until my stomach hurt (sad but true). Made exactly as recipe was written EXCEPT I used all vanilla and no almond extract. Unbelievably good.

Apple Crisp II

WONDERFUL! I made additional topping (because I am excessive!) and it was AMAZING. I will never look for another recipe! I topped it with homemade vanilla whipped cream with was a great compliment. If your wondering: I filled up the large magic bullet container (which will whip cream in 15 sec GUARANTEED!!!) with heavy whipping cream, added a couple of Tbsp powdered sugar and a splash or vanilla and whipped it up. It was great! Husband loved it!

Cola Burgers

I really liked to flavor of these burgers. Their texture was somewhere between a regular burger and meatloaf because of the egg, and my husband didn't like them because of that. But I did!

Slow Cooker Carnitas

I used a butt roast instead of a shoulder roast. The meat just about melted in your mouth. Very moist and tender. I doubled the spices as well, even then they were more on the subtle side. I used to leftover meat for bbq pork sandwiches. The seasonings were versatile enough for this.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Very good rice pudding. Very creamy and less lumpy than other recipes I have tried. I like that you do not have to bake it in the oven either. I have tried it with and without raisons and prefer this recipe without. Very good!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Everything I have every been looking for in a pie filling! I used this recipe with the top rated recipe for french pie pastry. Amazing! Apple pie is my favorite pie and this was the best one I have ever had! Next time I am going to try using Honey Crisp apples. I have heard that they hold their shape well and are a very good combination of both sweet and tart.

Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

WOW! Wow wow wow. Delicious! I used canned blueberry pie filling and omitted the graham cracker mix and it turned out great. I also used 3.5 oz of cream cheese instead of pudding. There are still little bits (very little) in the ice cream but it is really good! Amazing. I was so afraid it was going to be grainy, but it is so smooth and creamy. Thank you for posting this recipe! I have been craving it ever since blue bunny discontinued theirs!

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Use 1/2 tsp or less of peppermint. It's all you will need. A GREAT recipe that I have made multiple times. You can't find a decent mint chip in the store anymore! This was just what I had been looking for for a long time!
