Campbell's Kitchen Classic Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
Very satisfying, but this does have a very different taste from most stroganoffs because of the use of yogurt and not sour cream. With that said, my husband and I actually preferred it! I used red wine instead of sherry and it really gave it a richer dimension and an elegant taste. (I also used 93/7 ground beef and added a beef bullion cube to the water.)

Cranberry Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
A huge hit for Thanksgiving!!! My husband requested an apple and cranberry pie for dessert and I tried this one out. I used a ready made crust for ease and that was a great choice. I also didn't not use the crumble topping as my mind was in fifty different places that day but instead just covered the top with a another pie crust layer and that worked perfectly as well. We served this pie with homemade egg nog ice cream and it was a festive and wonderful dessert!

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Mmmmmm! I just made these and they are delightful! I did alter the recipe a little bit, the changes I made: 1 cup of milk instead of 3/4 cup 2 eggs instead of 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for a little added flavor. I also used the traditional method, mixing all dry ingredients, then all wet in another bowl and then combining slowly. I did forgo the topping as I wanted these to truly feature the chocolate and they did!

Kraft® Boston Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Absolutely outstanding!!! The only thing I did differently is bake two 9" rounds instead of hasseling with trying to cut one round into twos. It was unbelievable and anyone can make this recipe!

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Outstandingly tart! I made a few changes as I like to bake my cranberry bread with whole cranberries and I also used about 2 cups instead of 1 cup of cranberries. Also I don't like nuts too much so I just omitted them. But overall this is the best cranberry bread recipe I've ever used!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
PHENOMENAL! I did half the recipe and I opted out on the walnuts and used mint dark chocolate chips instead of semi sweet but everything I else I went step by step and these came out like a dream!

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

A seasonal crowd pleaser! Loved by everyone! Very moist and aromatic. I didn't put any nuts or raisins in mine but it definitely didn't feel like it was missing anything. Highly recommended recipe!

KNUDSEN Chicken and Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
Really really good! I used fresh carrots and broccoli (steamed a little bit before adding them to the mix) and I also added about a cup of milk to the soup mixture because it seemed a bit thick otherwise. Very yummy and easy!

Santa Fe Chicken and Stuffing

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
Pretty good, filling and makes a lot, so if you've had a hectic week and you have a fussing child this is the dinner for you. I served it with tortilla chips for a crunch. Do as others have said and use more cheese, really as much as you want.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
I would like to give this recipe ten stars! I threw a bunch of cut up potatoes into the bottom of the cooker and they were spectacular as well! This recipe will be put into heavy rotation in my household.

I give these cookies TEN stars! So delicious! I've never seen my husband go this crazy over any cookie ever! He couldn't stop eating them. The changes I made: used yellow cake mix and 1 tablespoon lemon extract. Perfection!

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
Totally yummy chocolate chocolate!!! I divided the batter into two batches and added semi-sweet chocolate chips to one batch and white chocolate chips to the other half. Both batches baked up perfectly and these will answer any chocolate craving you may be having!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

I knew that there wasn't enough liquid in this recipe from the get-go, I should have listened to my inner chef! I agree with the reviews that question why it is in the top recipe categories.

Three Bean Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
Very very good! I omitted the red onion because I don't really love them and I didn't have any cilantro or tarragon so I used dried oregano and it worked out perfectly!

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
Taste great and feeds a lot! I gave three stars because the original recipe leaves a little to the imagination. I added a ton more taco sauce than suggested and would recommend adding green chilies to the mix. For a quicker and easier prep just make as if it's a ziti bake and you don't have to fill shells.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
Awesome! I had to sub with cream of celery because the store was out of cream of broccoli but it was still great! I also cooked up the chicken in garlic powder and parsley. I recommend making more bread crumb topping than suggested, because it's yummy!

King Ranch Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
It was a hit here! Sooooo tasty! My husband also suggested that we could make this into a dip, a real hearty one for sure! Just cut the chicken up much smaller and don't add the chips in but instead just scoop with the chips!

Hot Cocoa Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
Love it! Very easy to mix up and give as treats for Christmas. I added crushed up little bits of peppermint candy canes to the mix and it gave it a nice holiday flavor. I also used Hersheys Dark Chocolate Cocoa instead of the plain and it was delicious.

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
Very hearty but I would recommend adding salt to taste, not the recommended amount. I also added 2 cups of water and ONLY 2 chicken bullion's (geez, 6 would knock the wind outta ya!). I slow cook for 8 hours on low so the need for the extra water, but I wouldn't recommend the extra water if you slow cook on high for shorter times. I added some frozen peas in the last ten minutes of cooking. Stirred at the halfway point and then again when I added the peas.
