I followed this recipe exactly, except I halved the sauce. A 9X13 pan is obviously way too big for this quantity - my corn pudding squares were less than an inch thick! The pudding tasted good, but the sauce was disgusting, and there was still way too much sauce even though I made only half. I recommend you use the corn pudding recipe, but double it for a rectangular pan and disregard the butter sauce entirely.

Blueberry Custard

I used raspberries instead of blueberries and it came out fine, but it was definitely not sweet enough for dessert. I added extra sugar in the recipe, and ended up sprinkling more sugar on top before eating it. Without the extra sugar on top, it was like scrambled eggs with raspberries in them.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

These were not as good as I had hoped. I used biscuits from a can, but I think if I made them again I would use a better tasting and texture bread dough. The biscuits seemed too heavy for the filling.

Banana Fritters

I made mine too big and so they didn't get cooked in the middle before they burned on the outside. But they were still delicious! My boyfriend especially liked the "undercooked" ones!

Southwestern Turkey Soup

I used chicken instead of turkey and added corn and fresh cilantro and this soup was delicious. This soup is like the mexican version of gumbo - a classic.
