Grilled Asian Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2014
too salty and the flavors seemed overwhelmed by the soy sauce.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2014
i would give this ten stars if i could. followed recipe exactly(used mostaccioli shells, since i couldn't find ziti and i don't know if there's a difference) and used garlic basil barilla sauce(consumer report good buy). tossed the pasta with light sour cream before putting it in dish and voila! simply one of the best things i have made from this site. my son ate 1/3 of the dish in one sitting.

Sensational Slow Cooked Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2014
made this in the crock pot for passover and it was beyond delicious. i followed everything to the letter except omitted the cayenne pepper. after i sauteed the mushroom and shallots, used the same pan to sear and brown the meat, 5 min per side as suggested adding the worcester sauce. put the meat into the crock pot and then added the remaining liquid ingredients and boiled this down to about half of what i started with. (got scared when i tasted this and found it to be really spicy! not to fear, though, the final product wasn't spicy at all) i added this liquid to the meat in the crockpot, topped it with the mushrooms and butter/margarine and set the meat on low and cooked for 10-11 hours. it was stunningly simple and so delicious that everyone took seconds and thirds.

Slow Cooker Philly Steak Sandwich Meat

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2014
the flavors did nothing for me or my family. made it for super bowl sunday and was disappointed at the blend of flavors. certainly didn't taste like any philly cheese steak i have eaten before. i could absolutely taste the whiskey and the beer in the meat. maybe will try this with just beef broth and less of the spices.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2013
made it exactly per recipe. used mini muffin cups to line the pan so they were easy to pop out. used xmas sprinkles on top of the reeses cup when it had melted some after being placed in the cookie dough and refrigerated to get everything to set. baking for 8 minutes was perfect at 375. took them to a cookie exchange and everyone loved them. easy and delicious.

Grilled Lamb with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
beyond delicious. easy, easy, easy and soooo good. the spice rub takes away from the gaminess of lamb which i don't love and makes a nice carmelized crust that seals in flavors. it was too hot too grill(105 outside) so i broiled the chops(used 1- 1 and 1/2 inch thick chops) and they turned out moist and divine. better than anything i have had in a restaurant!! AAA++++

Easy Curry Couscous

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
truly the easiest thing i have ever made and one of the most delicious. i used spicy curry powder to give it a kick and otherwise kept to the instructions and it was perfect. a box of far east couscous is the 1 and 1/2 cups you need, btw.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
easy to follow, i had to add a lot more corn syrup than called for, but it was fine. my only issue was the almond extract, yech!! next time i will use vanilla, i didn't realize the almond extract would give such a strong flavor with such a small amount.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
these were the cookies that i grew up with. i chilled them overnight and the dough was easy to work with. also the dough makes a generous amount of cookies, so be prepared. it looks deceptive until you start rolling and cutting. the cookies were a huge hit at my son's xmas party at school.
