Ramen Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Delish! And cheap! I boiled the veggie stock, then threw in red bell pepper, and green onion. I then threw in the soy sauce, chili oil, and ginger. Mixed it. Then I threw in the ramen noodles, and cracked an egg (keeping it whole) into the boiling water. Be careful. The ramen noodles cook quick (3 minutes for mine). Very yummy, and more complete with a poached egg.

Greek Lentil Soup (Fakes)

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
This recipe is very flexible! I used Split Green Lentils, instead of brown, and I threw in a can of diced tomatoes, instead of tomato paste, because it's what I had on hand. I doubled the amount of garlic. I used chicken stock, in place of water. This turned out delish! I added Red Wine Vinegar, and a drizzle of olive oil to each bowl, before serving. Had plenty left-over, and had lunch the next day (I forgot all about the vinegar and olive oil, but the soup was still delish!!). I rated 5 stars, because this soup is very flexible, and hard to mess it up! :)

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
Excellent. I used 1TBSP for half a pound of ground beef, poured 1/4 cup of water in, threw in some chopped red pepper, mixed it in, cook until thick, and poured over pasta. Yums! I think I will increase the seasoning to 2TBSPs for some kick! :)

Mini Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
We have been making these little dogs for a few years... WARNING: They go really really fast at a party! People gobble them up. Serve with BBQ sauce, ketchup and/or mustard of any kind for dipping.

Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Very yummy! I doubled up on the chicken bouillon, doubled the garlic, used a whole head of cabbage and added carrots. I think it would be a little bland if I didnt double the chicken bouillon. That is why I have four stars. Very filling. Froze the leftovers.
