Italian Sausage Soup

This soup is awesome! I won second place at my church's soup cook off with this recipe. I will drain the sausage next time as it was a bit greasy for me...but...yummy none the less!!!

Rainbow Salad

Why this says it only takes 1 hour and a half to make is beyond me.....it actually takes FOREVER! BUT, it is worth it. It's pretty and tastes great. I made mine with all sugar-free jellos, topped it with whipped cream and kiwi, raspberries, and blueberries. It was awesome!!

Hash Brown Casserole II

This recipe is great! We all just love it. I only changed one thing. I used French's french fried onions to top this with rather than corn flakes. I haven't tried the corn flakes, so I don't know which one is better. I just know that it's awesome with the onions!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Always a favorite here! Easy and delicious! I sonetimes use a store bought pound cake instead of making the white cake. It's great as well.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

If I could give this cookie recipe 100 stars...Iwould! The were fantastic! They were everything all the reviewer said they were and more. I did do one thing different...because that's how I like my cookies :-).....I put in both chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. To die for!!! Everything else I followed to the letter and they couldn't have been more perfect! The recipe makes ALOT but they stay fresh a very long time and my boys had NO PROBLEM finishing them all up!

Cake Balls

I should have listened to the reviewers and cut the frosting in half. They were MUSH!! I didn't even waste my time dipping them in the chocolate! I will definately try again because they sound so good but, if they don't work...I give up!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

I made this for company and everyone loved it. I made alterations since the original recipe sounded like it would be kind of bland. I added some carrots, corn, parsley, and cumin. It was fantastic! Even my husband, who hates dumplings, loved it! Will do again.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Easiest icing ever! Used this at church for the kids to decorate cookies and used paint brushes. Worked great! No finger licking!!! I also used it to decorate some beautiful cookies. Very easy to work with. This is my new recipe for frosting!

Yummmmmm! I didn't cook the potatoes long enough so it turned out a little lumpy. And it was a little on the thin side (maybe my fault because of the potatoes) But the flavor was soooooo good! Will try again for sure!!!

Three Animal Italian Meatballs

These meatballs were great! I did make a few alterations. I used ground pork instead of sausage, I added fresh garlic, a little nutmeg, and I fried them in extra virgin olive oil instead of veg oil. Also, we made HUGE meatballs (about baseball size) We fried and baked them a little longer than directed becasue they were so big. They were fantastic! Recommended for sure!!!
