My mom was always more of a baker than a cook. I think I'm a mixture of both. I'm now kind of her "go-to" for recipes. I am the guinea pig, and if something comes out great, she wants the recipe =).

Monkey Bread I
Soooo easy, and delicious! The only downside is that it's only really great when it's fresh out of the oven. It gets pretty soggy after it cools. My husband eats it, but I only enjoy it fresh out of the oven. I cut the biscuits with a pizza slicer, and my daughter rolls them in the cinnamon/sugar mix. We don't shake them in a bag, we just put it in a bowl, and roll them. She loves it!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These truly are DELICIOUS. I saw some people said they came out "cakey", but they weren't at ALL - they were SOOOOO good. I think they were one of (if not the) best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. My husband said they're just as good as the specialty cookie places. They were slightly crisp, but so chewy and just.... amazing! I made 6 of them (that's all the fits on one baking sheet), and will have enough for 2 more batches. I put the remaining dough in the fridge for tonight and the next night. This will be my go-to recipe, and is sooooo much better than the refrigerated dough in the tubs. Try it, you won't regret it!!! PS - Don't forget to use one full egg, and one egg yolk. Maybe some people are using the full egg, rather than just the yolk, and that's why it's coming out so "cakey"

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust
This pizza dough/crust is FABULOUS!!! I tried another "easy" dough, but it came out flat and hard. I made it twice, and both times gave the same result. This recipe, however, comes out thick, slightly crisp, and chewy. JUST as good as making the dough using the "normal" process of kneading/rising/beating etc. Using a standard baking sheet/jelly roll pan, it comes out perfectly. I use this, with an easy sauce (tomato paste, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, etc. - it's on this website) and top it with pepperoni, ground beef and mozzarella. It sounds so simple but it is to DIE FOR. We've been eating it once a week, ever since I found this crust recipe. You MUST try it!
