Cream of Onion and Potato Soup

I boiled the potatoes and onions in vegetable broth, added a bit of celery salt and added sauteed red bell peppers and swiss cheese at the end. Yum!

Carrot Cashew Quiche

I agree with the other reviewers that there is too much honey - I only added 2Tbl and it was still too sweet. Otherwise, both my 2-year old and I ate it up! Yum!

Dutch Apple Pie

BEWARE!!! don't use any regular paper bags for this recipe, I tried this pie three times, and all three times, the bag, and pie, went up in flames! Either the recipe is excluding an important fact about what kind of paper bag to use, or the oven temperature is too high!

Red Velvet Cake I

This cake is DELICIOUS! it takes quite a bit of work, but the end result (even when the frosting doesn't turn out, and just drips off the cake) is wonderful!

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Ummmmmmm, delcious, I have already made this bread a number of times, and had rave reviews about it each time. Even old fashioned Germans, who have eaten hard balck breads their whole lives, and referred to it as cake, gave their approval!

Vegan Split Pea Soup I

I love split pea soup, and was ecstatic to find a recipe for one without ham! I must say, even though the poem suggests eating this soup 9 days old (peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot, 9 days old), make sure you keep the pot in the refrigerator.

Lemon Mushroom Herb Chicken

I made this with turkey, as it is the only meat I eat. It was delcious! Not too sour (as some lemon recipes are...) Just delcious, served with rice, and Irish Soda Bread...
