Broccoli Coleslaw

I did not bring any of it back home from the Pic-Nic so my taste buds were correct. I used some broccoli coleslaw mix. Actually one bag of it.

Very good. I like adding 1 lb of hamburger and 1 lb of pork. I can't stop eating this once I make it. Either way I like to add at least 2 lb of meat. I thought original was a little short for my taste as a meat lover. Plus I felt funny chopping two frozen Costco hamburger patties to get it to the 1.5 lb.

Gingerbread Cookies I

Yes.... Do these. These are REALLY good. Double the spices, about 4 3/4 cups of flower and 1/4 tsp of lemon extract. The picky 5 year old liked them really well. Added some pink frosting from a can to make them "Ginger Girls". Also 325 degrees for 9 minutes at 1/4 think rolled dough.

Ice Cream Kolacky

This was bland. I thought the ice cream would make it really good. How can you go wrong with ice cream. The 5 year old didn't like it, I didn't like it but my wife likes to dunk them in coffee.

Cranberry Gelatin Salad I

Great addition for Turkey-Day. I was given a close 2nd to my Grandmas recipe, may she RIP. I was asked 3 times for this recipe. So I give it high remarks. The nuts were worth adding, I made them really fine before sprinkling so they didn't make to much of a crunch for a jello.
