I doubled the recipe and made it in cupcake pans. Our family of four completely ate all of them with jam/butter. Delicious!

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
We just made these because we were out of butter and looking for a chocolate recipe that didn't require butter. They were very good - good texture and very chocolately. I did add some semi-sweet chips that I had melted to add chocolate flavor. Delicious!

We did not add peanut butter. We also melted the chocolate chips & then mixed them with the sweetened condensed milk. We think a great name would be "Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Dough"!

Cinnamon Crunch Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
After reading some of the feedback, I made the following changes. I cut the recipe in half, put foil on my cookie sheet, separated all the graham crackers (I used regular graham crackers), I added some coconut to the top, and I lowered the temp to 375 and only baked them for 8 minutes. They were delicious!

Excellent recipe. I used about 1/2 cup brown sugar (removed 1/2 cup white sugar). Everyone liked it - you would never guess zucchini is in it! I also added both nutmeg and a little bit of clove.

Raspberry Cream Muffins

left out the white chocolate chips and it was a bit sour - not sweet. I blended raspberries - light pink color - and very moist. Boys liked them out of oven - but 11 year old did not like them second day.

Instead of tomatillos - I used a jar of La Victoria Green Salsa and 2 cans of white beans. I threw it in the crockpot and it was perfect. Both boys (11 & 13 loved it).

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
Just remembered I made these before and the topping was too crumbling. For topping I mixed 2/3c brown sugar, 1/4 c flour, 1/2 t cinnamon, 2 T butter. I crumbled topping but then mixed it into the batter (swirled). I also added 2 tsp of vanilla to batter. Very good!

I was a little leery - but these were excellent. I used white cake mix, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg, 1+ tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp ground clove, 1/4 tsp ginger, and 2 tsp vanilla. It made 12 large muffins and cooked for 23 mins at 350. I would definitely make these again. Super easy!

10 year old son, David, said to give it 5 stars. We doubled the vanilla and cinnamon and left out the walnuts. He said it was better than some desserts. Next time I may also leave out coconut and just make a light cinnamon cake.
