Pork Rib Stew with Sage Cornmeal Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2013
This was absolutely awesome. I made this recipe exactly as written. I did let the the dumpling dough sit for a few minutes before adding to the stew. I used the mixing spoon and made huge dumplings. They did disintegrate just a bit, but this added to the stew and made an awesome gravy. The actual dumpling was delicious. I will definitely make again. Thanks so much for sharing.

Moroccan Shabbat Fish

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
This was such a tasty dish. I made this last night. There were no leftovers and everyone went for seconds. I made a yogurt garlic sauce to compliment the spicy fish. I served with brown rice and creamed spinach. The sauce from the fish was so good over the rice. I will definitely make this again. I did follow someone else's comment and baked for 30 to 40 min on 400 degrees. 200 degrees for an hour just didn't sound right. The fish was tender and just melted in our mouths. Thanks so much for sharing.

Green Chili Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
I enjoyed this recipe for breakfast today. I scaled it down to a single serving, but I think this could have fed two people. I gobbled this all up. I used 2 eggs, 2 tsp half and half, pepper jack cheese (I didn't have cheddar), 3 mild whole green chili peppers split in half lengthwise, salt and pepper. I layered in an individual size casserole dish and baked for 20 min at 400 degrees in a toaster oven. It was perfect. I wish I hadn't eaten the entire portion but it was so very tasty. Thanks so much for sharing. I will definitely make again.

Brined Bratwurst

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
mmmmmmMMMMMMM! *Singing operatically "Aaaaaawwwwesooome" I followed the recipe up to step 4. I put the brats back in the pan after removing the browned onions and browned the brats that way. I usually boil brats in beer with other ingredients and then grill them. Although we will continue to make the beer brat recipe, the brined brat recipe definitely will be part of our rotation. My family loved them. Thanks for sharing!!

Wonderful flavor. My family enjoyed it. I will still make mine from scratch. This is a great recipe when in a bit of a time crunch. I did add garlic and used basmati rice. Was not sticky at all. I will use again and again. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
Delicious! I followed this recipe almost exactly except I forgot the pecans and I salted and peppered the fish before brushing the wonderful sauce and then lightly spreading the bread crumbs. It will be wonderful to try this next time with the chopped pecans too. This recipe is a keeper! Thanks so much for sharing!

Simple Coffee Drink

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
I tried this this morning. I absolutely adore this recipe! I love coffee, but I am the only one in the house that drinks it. I always have plenty left over. I can't really do the sugary coffee drinks that can be purchased at the grocery store or from a coffee shop. So due to dietary restrictions, I altered the recipe just a bit. I used just one packet of sweetener and vanilla almond milk. I am hooked! Thanks so much for sharing!! I will have this drink again and again and again ..... :)
