Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

This will be my "go to" cookie recipe. Fabulous taste! I took a suggestion from mysweetcreations and split the dough up used chocolate chips in half and m & m's in half, also by her suggestion I baked some up and rolled most of the dough into balls for freezing. Just baked the frozen cookies and they came out great. Such a great recipe and the convenience of freezing the dough into balls to pop in the oven s few at a time is perfect for us.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

I love great slow-cooker recipes! This soup is really good, wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. I probably would be inclined to give it 5 but I have several similar recipes that are all very good.. guess I'm holding out for one to be "the one" and knock my socks off. I would definitely make this one again. Has some spice to it but we added even more.

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

These tasted great and did melt in your mouth. My two girls loved them. I added 1 tsp. vanilla as other suggested and baked at 350 degrees for about 16 minutes - they came out perfect! I melted chocolate and drizzled it over the top... YUM! The recipe yielded about 24 medium sized cookies using my small scooper. Next time I will double the recipe I like to share and these disappeared FAST! Thanks for a great simple recipe!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

We enjoyed these. Ingredients quickly come together, this recipe is nice because of the melted butter. Sometimes I want to make cookies but haven't thought ahead to allow my butter to soften. Before baking the dough had a strong brown sugar taste (which was yummy) but after baking it wasn't as noticeable. Good recipe that I will use again.. especially if I need a chocolate chip cookie fix and my butter is still cold in the refrigerator =)

Chocolate Banana Cream Pie

Easy recipe, looked and tasted great. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Made my own whipped cream, used a store bought crust which was too thin. Next time I will definitely make my own crust.

New England Clam Chowder II

My family really enjoyed this chowder. As others suggested I doubled the recipe, glad I did, it disappeared fast and I can't imagine not at least doubling it! I also took another suggestion and added red wine vinegar, about 3 tbls. to the doubled recipe. Fantastic! Will file this one in the recipe book!

Hot Apple Cider

Doubled the recipe and made a it for Halloween night. Forgot the orange and lemon at the store but it didn't matter.. full flavor and tasted WONDERFUL! A guest said it definitely had a homemade taste and was the best hot apple cider he's had =)

Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Quick and easy! Used 1% milk. After reading others notes I decided to throw a couple of ice cubes in and then refrigerate for 10 minutes before enjoying to give it an extra chill. YUM! Didn't know if I would like the peanut butter/banana mixture, made it more for my girls.. turns out I liked it better than they did =)

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Loved it! Easy enough to make and tasted wonderful! I had a rotisserie chicken that needed to be used so I skipped adding the chicken to the veggies to boil. Instead I added diced potato to the veggies and boiled the veggies and potato in chicken broth, then incorporated the diced chicken after draining the potato/veggies. The potato addition was a must for me.. can't imagine pot pie without it! I used a store bought pie crust (which came out great) but will step it up next time and make my own =)

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

These were quick, easy and tasted great. Baked until firm but not brown yet, removed biscuits from the oven and brushed the butter/seasoning mixture on top then returned the biscuits to the oven to brown. I also made corn on the cobb for dinner and used the left over melted butter/seasoning to coat the corn after boiling - WOW! made the corn out of this world!

Cheese Soup with Broccoli

We enjoyed this and thought it tasted great. I used another's suggestion and added potato and I thought that was a wonderful addition, I just cut it up fairly small and added it with the veggies in the chicken stock to tender. Tasted even better the next day, had to change it to 5 stars!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

The best chocolate chip cookie recipe I've tried! I cut the recipe in half because it makes such a large amount. The cookies baked up perfectly and tasted as great as they looked. The vanilla pudding must be the key ingredient! These cookies are not as buttery tasting as a traditional choc. chip cookie recipe but you don't miss out on any flavor! Next I will try another's suggestion to use chocolate pudding mix and white chocolate/peanut butter chips. Thanks for the great recipe!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Wonderful! Followed the recipe exactly, took longer than 50 minutes for my two medium loaves to cook.. closer to 1 hour 15 minutes. My husband kept saying how wonderful it smelt while baking and we both thought it tasted just as good!

Frosted Banana Bars

Made these bars as a last minute dessert for visitors. Everyone loved them! Made my own cream cheese frosting using recipe from the AR site, definitely made these that much better as I don't think store bought cream cheese frosting is near as good. Baked up nicely using a jelly roll pan. Really yummy served just after cooled and frosted but I also agree with others who have said that after being refrigerated the banana flavor is enhanced! Will definitely make these again! Thanks for a great recipe, always looking to use those overripe bananas!

Creamy Rice Pudding

I used leftover short grain rice from dinner. Easy to make and tasted really yummy. My husband didn't care for it but he said that rice pudding isn't his thing.. he's a little pickier than most but is a good sport about trying anything I make. I liked it and I think anyone who likes rice pudding would as well.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Easy and delicious. Using foil on the pan leaves no clean-up as well. The fish lifted right off the skin when I used the spatula to transfer it to a serving dish. Moist and yummy!
